Well, summer is finally over and work is starting to slow down somewhat. Although I havent been a paying member here for several years it still been fun reading friends' blogs and perving (lol) webcams.

Tonite I spent time with a good friend I met thru here. (There are no sexual escapades to report, so if thats what youre after, stop reading this now). Gold ball is almost up. I've met a few friends on here that will always be special and they know how to contact me outside this site. Except for the spammers and the pros it been a pleasant experience and I've had a lot of fun.
Lets face it, the women have thier "pick" here. Ok boys and girls......maybe I'm being too sensitive. I'm pretty honest and straightfoward about what I include in my profile. I have never stood anyone up on a date/meeting and have tried to find something attractive in everyone I communicate with. I dont have a lot of time to spare so I dont appreciate it being wasted. I've met a quite a few people on here which I now consider friends. The last few months I've been reading and enjoying several peoples' blogs and even posting comments on a few here and there. Lately I've been communicating with one blogger and there has been talk of a tentative meeting over coffee or a drink. I hope she dosent think shes gonna get lucky the first time out. Today marks a solemn day in our history. We have all been touched by the events that happened on this day 5 years ago. I, personally, lost 3 friends.
One I had seen just a month earlier at our high school reunion after many years. It was good to catch up with Jeff. We had known each other since early grade school. He leaves a wife and 3 .
The other 2 were brothers and were killed in the line of duty. They also leave families.
I pray for the familes' who mourn thier loved ones, for the police and firefighters who protect us every day and for the ArmedForces who are doing thier jobs overseas. Whether or not you agree with our tactics in the MiddleEast shouldnt matter. What does is our support for the brave men and women.

Hi everyone. I havent been around for a while. Seems I was running a 104.8 fever for about 3 days which knocked me on my ass. I'm sure a few brain cells got thoroughly basted too.
