I celebrated my birthday last night in Syracuse at Shenanigan's. The band had a gig so I planned on getting hammered, even though my birthday is not until the 26th, but who wants to get hammered on a Thursday, right? As yesterday approached I began to rethink my plan of getting hammered. I had at 8:30 in the morning and I knew we wouldn't get home before 3AM. I very rarely drink these days and I KNEW that it would hit me pretty hard. Also, I am prone to hangovers, BIG TIME! I did NOT want to be coloring hair with a hangover! 
Well, you know what they say about the best laid plans...
I got pretty damn trashed! hehehe!
I did manage to take some really incredible pics of the band, and with a steady hand believe it or not! I was wearing big, black stiletto boots and did not twist my ankle once. I was loud, but that was in an effort to make some noise for the band, I MUST support them ya know! 
They sounded INCREDIBLE last night, this was by far the BEST gig I have seen them do yet. So I would have been loud even if I was sober.
I did manage to get about 4 & a half hours of sleep before I had to find my way to the hair studio. I can't type this loudly enuff for you to understand:
I FELT LIKE HELL!!!
Thank goddess I only booked 3 people. I averaged a little more than $30.00 an hour but I'm not sure it was worth it, the sleep would have been better! But I got thru it and tried to go back to sleep but nooooooo....
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....
never mind, long story.
So all day I've felt like hell. My ears are still ringing from the gig, I forgot my ear plugs. It's very annoying & I hope it goes away soon.

and found it to be amusing, considering the circumstances!

One-Star Hangover:
No pain. No real feeling of illness. Your sleep last night was a mere disco nap which is giving you a whole lot of misplaced energy. Be glad that you are able to function relatively well. However, you are still parched. You can drink 10 sodas and still feel this way. Even vegetarians are craving a steak bomb and a side of gravy fries from any truck stop USA.
Two-Star Hangover:
No pain. Something is definitely amiss. You may look okay but you have the attention span and mental capacity of a staple gun. The coffee you chug to try and remain focused is only exacerbating your rumbling gut, which is craving a rootie tootie fresh and fruity pancake breakfast from IHOP. Last night has wreaked havoc on your bowels and even though you have a nice demeanor about the office, you are costing your employer valuable money because all you really can handle is surfing internet porn and writing junk e-mails.
Thee-Star Hangover:
Slight headache. Stomach feels crappy. You are definitely a space shot and so not productive. You have the attention span of a gnat. Anytime a girl walks by you gag because her perfume reminds you of the random gin shots you did with your alcoholic friends after the bouncer 86'd you at 3:45 a.m. Life would be better right now if you were in your bed with a dozen donuts and a meatball sub watching the E! fashion awards. You've had 4 cups of coffee, a gallon of water, 3 Snapples and a liter of Diet Coke - yet you haven't peed once.
Four-Star Hangover:
Life sucks. Your head is throbbing and you can't speak too quickly or else you might puke. Your boss has already lambasted you for being late and has given you a lecture for reeking of booze. You wore nice clothes, but that can't hide the fact that you missed an oh-so crucial spot shaving, (girls, it looks like you put your make-up on while riding the bumper cars) your teeth have sweaters, your eyes look like one big vein and your hair style makes you look like a reject from the class picture of Revere High, '76. You would shoot your mother for one or all of the following:
1. The clock to strike 6pm
2. The entire appetizer list from TGI Fridays
3. A time machine so you could go back and NOT have gone out the night before.
Five-Star Hangover (a/k/a Dante's 4th Circle of Hell):
You have a second heartbeat in your head (exacerbated by 6 bouts of the dry heaves) which is actually annoying the employee who sits in the next cube. Vodka vapor is seeping out of every pour and making you dizzy. You still have toothpaste crust in the corners of your mouth from brushing your teeth. Your body has lost the ability to generate saliva, so your tongue is suffocating you. You'd cry but that would take the last of the moisture left in your body. Death seems pretty good right now. Your boss doesn't even get mad at you and your co-workers think that your just died because you look so pathetic. You should have called in sick because, let's face it, all you can manage to do is bitch about your state - which is a mystery to you because you definitely don't remember who you were with, where you were, what you drank and why there is a stranger still sleeping in your bed, unaccompanied, at your house. The only thing you can do is pass out. It's when you wake up a few hours later with a lesser star hangover that you eat a large pizza, an order of Kung Pao Chicken, a ham and cheese omelet and a batch of Rice Krispie Treats.

Released in 2005, Absence is a concept CD, all the music was written by Henning Pauly. I believe this was his second frame-shift CD, I'm not sure who sang for him on the first.
Sebastian appears courtesy of Spitfire Records. I'm just blown away by his voice. This project showcases the incredible talent this man possesses. I'm convinced that he sounds WAY better now than he did back in the "Youth Gone Wild" days

Florida was great! We went to a different beach everyday, my favorite was South Beach. I could absolutely live there. My sinuses never felt so good!
But now that we are back in NY my sinuses are friggin kicking my ass again. hehehe!
I wanted to go to Ft Meyers & check out the club that Tikiboss34 used to blog about (back in the good ole days when he used to post, big sigh) but it was not meant to be....

Yes, I wore a bikini! The few extra pounds didn't stop me and I have vowed to myself to stop beating myself up over it, there is worse things.

And Vains of Jenna too! Can't forget those guys, they were amazing!
I won the tickets off the radio one day before I was to stand in line to buy them, I was SO happy!!! And for the tickets to be Front row, right center stage on the aisle, it was more than I had hoped for!
Vains of Jenna have a very energetic show and great stage presence. Really great musicianship too. And the look to match! hehehe!

I would have liked to cook them a meal though, they looked a tad thin...
They sound like a harder version of late 80's Faster Pussycat...the lead singer even resembles Taime Downe (sp?) a bit, especially in the eyes. The world is going to see WAY more of these guys in the near future.
Ratt was great! They all looked good and played immaculate. Warren DeMartini is a PHENOMENAL guitar player...possibly even better now than "back in the day" whenever the day was! hehehe! Robby just could not stop smiling! And I SWEAR it but Bobby has not aged a day, he looks nearly the same as he did back in 1985....except with much tamer hair! Stephen's voice was right on the money for the most part. He missed a few high notes but at least he didn't try to pull a "Vince Neil" trick on the crowd. (long story, dont get me started) I think I'm in love with Juan!!!! ~~~swooning~~~ He has amazing eyes, and that ass....
What? Where was I? Oh yeah...
Poison rocked the house!!! C.C. Deville is the man, I love this guy!!! I think Warren is a better guitarist but CC's stage presence is a trip! He is pure entertainment. And damn fine too, I might add. Brett's singing was flawless as always. Bobby is HOT and I got a big grin from him when I gave him a show! ~~wink~~ Rikki's drum solo blew me away, what I saw of it. I was being distracted by a very annoying, TRASHY, rude blonde bimbo bitch who couldn't keep her hands off my man. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
But, she must have had a brain in there because she did back off after I told her that I was about to knock the teeth out of her head! ~~evil grin~~
She must have been attached to them or something!
All in all it was a GREAT night!
I got 3 guitar picks and my man bought me a very cool Poison T-shirt. (thanks, btw)
I would go to the show again, but I sure as heck wouldn't bother with front row! Unless once again the tickets were free...
now that's another story!

I'm soooooo happy right now!!
It started last night, really...
After going out to eat at our fave steak house, I told Sorceror07 that it was his turn for a massage. He got naked
and turned on the air conditioner. For 50 minutes I got the intense pleasure of rubbing oil into his SUPER HOT body!!! hehehe! He has been working so hard in the workshop and practicing for his big concert tomorrow, he deserved it! So, we went to sleep and it got pretty cold in the middle of the night. We both sleep naked with just a sheet, so in an effort to stay warm, we snuggled very closely and wrapped our arms around each other all night long! We woke up that way and it was incredible!
I have today off for Lil' Metal's kindergarten graduation. The ceremony was so KEWL! They did a play of The Three Billy Goats Gruff...Metal was a troll! hehe! They received awards and he got an award for "Best Reader" in the class! He is reading all the way thru the first grade level!!!
I can't begin to tell you how proud I am, it literally brought tears to my eyes!
Then it was time to hand out the diplomas. They saved Lil' Metal's for next to last and announced that he was the Salutatorian for their class!!!
I cried, he looked SOOOOOO happy!!!
My is so incredible, I can't begin to tell you! He has Autism Spectrum Disorder but is on the super high intelligent end of the spectrum, thankfully. He is sweet, gentle, polite and a very mellow, well behaved boy. I don't know how I managed to have such a good , but I am thankful I did and am so incredibly lucky! I love him with every cell in my body!!
Ya wanna know what else???
I WON CONCERT TICKETS OFF THE RADIO TODAY!!!!!!!
TWO FRONT ROW SEATS TO SEE POISON AND RATT!!!
I was in my hair studio getting ready for graduation when the radio announced they would be giving tickets away. The theme was "Talk Dirty To Me" about your job. Well...let me tell you if there's one thing I can do it's talk dirty!
So, I dialed on my work phone, it kept ringing busy. I grabbed the house phone and was dialing on that too! When I got thru, I used my best porn star voice to say:
"Hi, my name is Mindy. I'm a hairstylist. I love to run my fingers thru the one inch layer of dandruff on a person's scalp! I love the way the dandruff feels when it falls down my cleavage!"
The radio guy goes:
"YES! YES! YES! (in his orgasm voice) You are the winner!!!"
Needless to say, I'm on top of the world right now! I'm taking Lil' Metal to do something special today...
after we drive down to Binghamton to pick up the tickets!!!

I'm officially BI-SEXUAL!
