TUNE IN TOMORROW TO CAST YOUR VOTE FOR ONE OF THE TEN FINALISTS!
'Tis the season to show how naughty and nice you can be - with Affairlook's XXXmas Card Contest! Create a virtual greeting card with a photo of your own fine self and a holiday message to Affairlook members and you could win Gold!
Perhaps you're an elf wrapping up some special toys for naughty boys. Or one of Santa's helpers baking some suggestively-shaped sweets. Or even jolly ol' Saint Nick himself, proving just how jolly he can be...
Your face must be visible in the photo. We want to see who's getting coal and who's getting candy! Non-religious props are welcome, so be creative and have fun, but please: no animals, (nor people other than the member in the photo i.e. photos must be of MEMBERS ONLY. For handles designated as Couples and Groups, all of the parties who are part of that couple or group may all appear in the festive photo!). One entry per membership so submit your best entry!
We'll be awarding prizes for the Best Woman's Card, Best Man's Card, Best TS/TV/TG Card, Best Couple Card, and Best Group Card. To enter, post a comment here containing your photo and greeting. YOUR Affairlook HANDLE -- written or printed on a sign -- SHOULD BE CLEARLY VISIBLE IN THE PHOTO. The deadline to enter is Monday, December 1 at 11:59 a.m. (PDT).
The Affairlook staff will review the entries on Monday, December 1. The top finalists in each category will be announced on Tuesday, December 2, and member voting on those finalists will go until Monday, December 8 at 11:59 a.m. (Please note that votes made to entries prior to December 2 will not be counted.)
The deadline to vote is Monday, December 8 at 11:59 a.m. (PDT). Winners will be announced later that day.
How to enter the XXXmas Card Contest:
1. Deck those halls, put on your holiday finery, WRITE A NOTE WITH YOUR HANDLE ON IT TO INCLUDE IN THE SHOT, snap a photo, and save it as a .jpg or .gif.
2. Upload the image - just click "Browse" next to the photo/icon section when you go to Add a Reply. You'll be able to upload a photo directly from your computer.
3. Add your holiday greeting in the text box.
4. Click the "Post" button. It's that easy!
How to vote for one of the finalists (between December 2nd - December 8th):
1. Special polls for each of the five categories (Best Woman, Best Man, Best TS/TV/TG, Best Couple, Best Group) will be created and posted on Tuesday, December 2. They will feature the photo entries of the finalists. Next to each entry is a round "radio" button. Click the radio button next to your favorite entry to cast your vote.
2. Each member is allowed to vote once per poll.
3. The finalists receiving the most votes will win.
Specific Contest Rules:
1. All photos must adhere to the Photo Guidelines.
2. Photos may not be digitally enhanced or altered and must not include other people. The member's face and handle must be clearly visible in the photo. (We reserve the right to delete entries without visible handles and/or that we are not otherwise able to authenticate.)
3. All entries must be submitted by Monday, December 1 at 11:59 a.m. (PDT).
4. All votes must be cast between Tuesday, December 2 and Monday, December 8 at 11:59 a.m. (PDT).
5. Note: Categories are subject to elimination if there aren't at least three qualified entrants.
6. General Contest Rules apply. These rules have been recently updated to include the following:
a. Affairlook.com is not responsible for entries that it does not receive for any reason, including technical malfunctions.
b. If a member receives a prize, he or she is not eligible to win another prize for 90 days unless otherwise noted in the specific contest.
7. Entries that do not adhere to these rules will be disqualified and can be deleted without notice.
Prizes for this contest are:
First place winners in each category win a 1-year Gold membership and an Affairlook T-shirt.

Once again, Halloween is upon us, and you're searching for that perfect sexy costume for an adventurous masquerade party...
...why not show it off to your fellow Affairlook members?
We want to see the most creative, funny, titillating, or terrifying costumes! Dress yourself up with creative costuming, fabric, props, body paint - whatever you can come up with! The more creative, the better!
All members are eligible, one entry per member, so submit your BEST entry! The deadline to enter is Monday, October 27, at 11:59 a.m. (PST).
The Affairlook staff will judge the entries and select ten finalists, who will be announced on Tuesday, October 28. Members may then vote for their favorite amongst the top 10. The deadline to vote is Monday, November 3 at 11:59 a.m. (PST). Winners will be announced soon thereafter.

How to Enter Contests...

Contests on Affairlook give you an opportunity to win prizes, such as membership upgrades, and to bring more visibility to your profile!
Here are detailed instructions on how to post an entry for an Affairlook contest:
1. Navigate to the Contest blog by clicking on the link from the home page (usually on the upper right-hand side, within the Member Blogs column). Click on the link and it will take you directly to the first page of the contest. (You can also go to the Blogs main page and type "Events" in the username field.)
2. In the upper left-hand corner, you'll see the ubiquitous silhouette of a female (i.e. the one that appears in a member's account if they haven't uploaded a photo). Above the silhouette, it reads "events."
3. Below the silhouette, it reads, "Post a Comment." Click on that link and it will take you to an empty "Add A Reply" box. (You can add a caption, a comment or text if it's a writing contest.)
4. Below the empty box is the field where you can upload a "Photo/Icon." Use the "Browse..." button to locate the photo you wish to upload (e.g. on your computer's desktop, hard drive, etc.).
5. When you're ready to proceed, click once on the "Post" button and your entry will be entered. It can be found at the end of the others (i.e. the last entry, on the last page -- until someone enters after you).

Please remember:
* Multiple submissions of the same photo are NOT allowed. Second and subsequent entries of the same photo will be deleted.
* However, multiple entries by one member submitting different photos are allowed.
In addition, please do not submit photos that have nothing to do with this contest (e.g. completely nude photos; sex scenes; photos of you in wet boxers or panties). They will also be deleted.
Respectful compliments on contestants' submissions are fine but rude or irrelevant comments will be deleted as well.

Voting has concluded for our Annual Wet TShirt Contest
In the spirit of the Back-to-School season, our latest Affairlook contest is a time-honored college tradition: The Annual Wet T-Shirt contest!
Get wet and wild and show off your goods! Winners will receive Gold memberships and Affairlook T-shirts (dry ones!).
To enter, login to your Affairlook account, click on the Annual Wet T-Shirt contest icon, and upload a photo of yourself in a wet white T-shirt (or a very light color. Remember: we need to see the merchandise!). Both guys and girls can enter!
What to soak yourself with? The garden hose, Perrier, malt liquor, milk - go crazy! Use any liquid or beverage of your choice but no bodily fluids can be used or pictured.
You can enter as many times as you like! Affairlook staff will pick their top ten favorites, and then you get to vote on the ten finalists, with prizes being awarded to the top 6 vote getters.
Contestants may begin submitting their photos on Monday, September 8th, 2008.
The photo entry deadline will be Monday, September 22, 2008 at 11:59 a.m. (PDT).
Ten finalists will be selected and posted one week later on Monday, September 29, 2008, at which time members may vote for their favorite.
