I Just received acceptance of the price offer I made for the Purchase of a 40ft Motor Sail Boat!  ... A sturdy Blue Water Vessel (40ft "Islander").
My friend and I have been looking for one of these for some time.
Waiting on the paperwork mill to wind down and take possession soon, (after A couple weeks in Key West)
Will be living in Green Cove Springs during a refit and a bit past that to sea trial and check her out for cruising.
Of course this means there Will of course be a sailing party or 2 just to insure she is fit n ready for fun to be had above and below decks. 
Watch my blog for updates and maybe you will be invited on one of those Fun trips.
Sailing experience is a big plus too.
Here She is, the "Carolina Girl" my new Mistress!
She does however encourage me to continue having friends here on Affairlook

Still new and not so good at this so patience is necessary and advice taken for review with an open mind.
That really has nothing to do with this post but I often Digress so there will be more in the future
The meat of this post is to share a plan I would like to carry out in the not to distant future. I can not do it alone though, so have decided to put the "Idea" to you all for help.
The "Idea": Take a multiple 3-5 day trip on P W Sound in a comfortable Boat, for fishing, hiking, photography, and play.
7/15/2011 Ok it's been a while since I have commented here and I decided that it is time to update it some. 1st I have not given the idea up but it will first be a smaller boat and likely next summer. Life and retirement kinda held things up a bit but has not cooled the idea. Just wanted you all to know.
The boat: I have that covered.
Your part: I need some friends who play and find an adventure like this appealing. I'm sure your out there because I have already talked to some of you about such a thing and received positive feed back
Who: anyone reading this blog that finds the idea interesting, should read my profile and if you like that let me know, we 'll go from there. chat a little, blog on it, coffee, lunch, Beer and find out if there's any chemistry.
That's the easy part. Now I/we have to turn this into a group of people, my friends, your friends, new people we meet etc that can meet all the needs and requirements of this adventure
Requirements(to start): or maybe better called, Ground Rules for now at least
Input, Ideas, etc from those interested will help flesh this out (hey this is a rather new fantasy help me out here)
Figure to start with everyone who goes on the trip will have to have met all the other members of the group (compatibility on the water is key)
How about discretion, boundaries etc.
There it is bare bones. I would like to hear what you think

Recently posted on a boat that I am interested in in Fl. Still like her looks but the Mechanical and Electrical systems need far to much to pay the asking price.This one is not dead yet if the owner will get real about her needs and price it accordingly I am still ready to buy and repair her. I have the Skills if the price is right.
Waiting!
Still looking for that dream boat while I do though. anybody have a 40-45ft Motor Sailer (Blue Water Vessel Only) for sale? let me know where and how much We might do business and have fun if so

Simle question or two about things I have noticed in my time as a member here and am curious about
1 It appears that those who's profie photo is a sillouette and
says request a pic is
a. just for looking at
b. those who selected it never intended to release a photo
anyway
I am seriously curious about this (yeah silly but stuck on it) so if you can enlighten me in any way, anybody please do. I have clicked on this many times and never a response??
2 Another strictly curiousity is the members who List as "Prefer not to say" as their orientation Followed by advertizing for interaction with anybody regardless of sex, color etc. Just sayin.
As for me I chose "bi-sexual" because it is as close to how I would describe my self as offered. That is simply "Sexual". It is about enjoying good healthy clean sex with who ever, when/where ever I choose. "Preference Profiling"? It's like saying to someone I won't have sex with you even though you are the hottest thing in the house because of ???. If their fun, hot and willing I say have at it. This is strictly my opinion and I like it here so certianly won't call your's wrong just different

This is something I am still pursuing. So if you have had thoughts but not made any comments please do as I have no intention of abandoning this adventure.
Thinking that the rules issue is important I have also decided that this will not be rule bound, but have just the basic necessary rules. The rest of the issues will be best tended to with common sense, respect, courtesy, and tolerance (within reason) of others wants and desires.
My personal take is that an Adventure like this CAN be a great fun party "done right". Since I have never hosted, attended, or even spoken to any one who has, I think input from others (even if you don't want to take part) are important to the success of such an adventure the first time.
That success I believe would make repeat events progressively meor desirable and fun as time improves the quality if the trip.
SO tell me what you think. I do want your comments

Hey guys Ladies too if you have any thoughts on this. I have noticed a number of profile visits from str8 and "prefer not to say's". that in its self is not strange to me as I have visited some profiles only to find I'm looking at a str8 guy not showing any interest in bi or gay friends and expect the same happens the other way round. no biggy. My Question really also no biggy is stuck in my mind, so here I am. A fair number of those str8 guys return to my profile fairly often and some daily for a bit at least. Question is Why? Just shy, unsure, nervous, thinkin about man to man or bi couple play, Or am I just that good to look at LoL? Really would like to read your reasons honest ones any way. I'm just real curious certainly not judging "Glass House" here.
