Where Have I Been?

Hey all! Thank you so much for reading this, and thank you so much for all of the emails, wondering where have I been. Well long story short things haven't been SO good. I'm still in Michigan, and have decided to stay here for the foreseeable future. My mother has not been doing well. And has spent the last month in the hospital fighting pneumonia. And well its inevitable that time with her is running out. So therefore I have decided to take a leave of absence from my job and stay. Its been really rough. I have to admit, and what my mother has been going through I certainly wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. As it stands I have something like 90 emails. And well lets be honest, chances are I wont be responding to all of those. So please if have written me anytime in the last 2 months write me back. And I promise to write back. I don't know how much time I have to hang out and get to know you, but right now, at least I do have time to write some emails. So there you have it. Thats where I am at.
Another reason why I'm writing is because I need your help. I know times are tough with the economy. Trust me I know, I'm living in my sisters basement living off of my savings...Thank you Suze Orman, especially that tip to save 8 months worth of money in case of emergency, still paying bills and rent for an apartment that I haven't seen in months. but please for myself, for others, I beg, I implore you to donate anything you can. If you cant donate your money, donate your time. Volunteer! And, if you cant do either of those, then I ask for only your prayers. I know times are tough but more is needed. More must be done. So as your about to stop for that morning coffee, or that extra cookie on lunch, or super sizing that value meal, I beg you to think. Just that little bit can help. And whether its St. Judes for Pediatric cancer, or the V foundation, or the American Cancer Society, or any other organization it doesn't matter. What does matter is your help. It wont save my mothers life, and realistically it probably wouldn't save your life, but it may save your 's life, or grandchildren life. Doctors and researchers are ever so close to finding cures but more is needed.
Anyways, I'm doing being an infomercial, and I'm sorry if I have offended anyone.

So Im home for the holidays, and Im already dreading it. I drove the hour and a half, back to South Haven, Michigan, and have spent the last few days sitting through literally a blizzard warning, doing absolutely nothing. Except watching football with my father, and snow falling. Then Yesterday I made the three hour drive north to Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, and here I am at my annoying sisters house, watching more snow, and hanging out with a way to hyperactive four year old neice. This really blows, lol. Anyways, I do love the holidays, and I hope that everyone gets exactly what they want this year....
So in summation.
Im cold. Im sooooo lonely, its a fucking blizzard, and Im stuck way out in as Ben Affleck put it in Raindeer games, in Bum Fuck Michigan.
But I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and a wonderful New Year.
That is all, Im finished bitching, haha.

My Rant.
Hey all, I just wanted to take a quick moment, and let everyone where I am at. Early last week I had to rush back to MI. My mother is back in the hospital, and was not doing well. She has had to endure multiple blood transfusions, and a few other procedures. I wont go into details other than to say that Im really sore from sleeping on a crappy hospital recliner the last week, but she is in rather good spirits. The doctors are confident that she is back to a stable conditiion, but want to observe her to make sure her platelets, and everything that can be is still normal. I agree, and plan on staying here until she is released. Mainly for my own well being, and to help my sister whom is a complete bitch. But takes care of my mother, fulltime, so I wont complain too much, lol. However, on orders from my mother, I will be driving back to Chicago late tonight, so that I can wake up at 4am to due my civic duty, and get in line to vote, and then I can hit rush hour traffic back to MI, for a 5 hour drive back to Mt. Pleasant, MI. Stupid Civic responsibilities!! But it will be nice to see my bed, LOl. Thank God, for my miata, and unusually warm weather, seriously...Whats with that? Anyways. If you have sent me a message, or am thinking about it, Thanks! And, be patient. I promise,promise,promise!! I will read them...all, and get back to you when Im home. As for now, Im back to watching QVC with mommy, and eating crappy cafeteria food. I do love the fruit cups though...But anyways. Fuck! I need a bath, a drink, and a massage, lol. I will write later!

This blog is pretty simple. I just wanted to put it out there, and Thank Christopher Columbus for discovering a beautiful country that, well...was already discovered. Now that is neither here nor there, but what is important, is the fact that because Chris sailed the ocean blue in 1492. I had today off. What a wonderful idea. I mean, lets be honest. Everyone especially me loves a three day weekend, and a four day work week. And, because brave Mr. Columbus, came to our already discovered land I was given just that. Now seeing the site that we are on, I completely understand that most everyone is waiting to hear about my sexual exploits that I had over the weekend. Well, unfortunately for you all, I had none. Infact, the extent of my weekend was spent,coaching a volleyball tournament, grading papers, watching Ohio State.(Go Bucks!) And sleeping. I did go out Saturday night with some friends, but it was just drinks. I mean, I really didnt get out of bed until 4 pm today.. So.. Thank you Columbus!! Well Im off to do nothing for the rest of the night. Bye!!!

So where have I been? Well thats a great question, and thanks for asking lol. So, I have been on this site for a while, and have recently taken a break. And, although I have been on the site I havent really responded to emails or winks, and I havent updated my profile. Well over the last few months I have been a pretty busy gal. I spent alot of time with my mother whos condition is worsening, so its important to spend as much time as possibile. I also moved to a much better neighborhood. It turns out, while my apartment was nice. There is alot of crime, and gang violence, so I figured out it was best to move while I could. So, Im still on the southside, but Im closer to downtown. I also started my new job. Its such a cool experience, and Im definetly a better person for it. I know what your saying. Yawwnnnn!!! Okay, so thats not all I have been doing. I have been dating. I met a really great girl, she was younger, 19, but alot of fun. But unfortunatley, she has never had a serious relationship before, and certainly never with a woman, so I think it was just too much too soon. More a summer fling, but it was great.  ...Oh to be young again, lol. I also went on a blind date with...a guy Yes, even I was skeptical, but it was alot of fun. He is definetly a keeper, and will make some girl really happy. But what he did for me, was solidify my interest, and desire, to be in a relationship with a woman. And, no there was no sex. Although if he asked, I probably would have given a bj, but he is too much of a gentleman, lol. So thats where I have been, and whats goin on. So I guess, Im back, and Im looking. So if you have written me in the last two months, dont fear write me back, and lets see where things lead!!

*6/24/08 Hi again all! Thank you so much for checking out my profile, and I hope you take a moment to read everything and enjoy! I just wanted to write and update everyone where Im at in life. Well I am fully moved into my new place on the south side of Chicago..Go Sox!..And, am happy to be here. I cant wait to start my new job at the end of August, and am still looking to see everything this city has to offer. Unfortunately though as my mothers condition worsens Im not able to spend more then a day or two a week at home in Chicago. When Im not at home Im spending alot of time in South Haven and Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. So single women and couples in those areas are always welcome to contact me. I will also say that coming up in July for my birthday I will be back in Columbus, Ohio to celebrate with friends...Ughhh 25 is sooo old... I am still looking for single women, and couples, but please realize that Im not looking for just a one night stand, but something long term.Hopefully a relationship. *April, 2008 Hi Everybody! Well first I wanted to say thank you for checking out my profile. I'm sorry if I havent written you back in a while but life, as it usually is, has been super hectic. I found out a few months ago, that my mother has brain cancer. It was truely a shock. One day she was complaining of a headache and the next Im rushing to Kalamazoo, MI because she is having surgery. A big thank you goes out to all of Bronson Hospital. You have saved my mothers life, and for that Im eternally greatful. She had the tumor removed and is keeping up with Chemo and Radiation. My entire family is keeping our hopes up, and we are all praying for the best. Next in my life, I met a pretty great girl. Unfortunatly we were just two people headed in two different directions. So Im back to being single. Now, when I said that we were headed in different directions, I meant mainly me! Im finally graduated from College. Its hard to see it go, and I really am going to miss it, but its been long enough. Growing up I always wanted to do something to help. And so I decided that the best way to do that was to mold the minds of Americas Youth...Yes me teaching is a scary idea, but Im glad to say, that I am actually going to pursue it. I plan on taking a hiatus over the summer from my current job, and start teaching english in the fall. Now the next part about moving in a new direction is actually moving away. Its the hardest thing in the world, but I wanted to be closer to my family..Especially my mother, and wanted to find the spot where I can make the biggest difference. So,I have put my house up for sale...Yes in this market...And, Im glad to say that I was offered and have accepted a position teaching in Chicago, Illinois. Its a long way from Ohio, but its alot closer to my little home time in Michigan, so needless to say Im sooo excited. I have always loved Chicago, ever since I was a little girl when my parents would take me, and now is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of everything the city has to offer. So, look out South Side, cuz here I come. I have met so many awesome people here, and I hope that they are friendships that will last a lifetime. And, I promise I will get back to Columbus, every chance I get. But I guess for now Im looking for friends, and hopefully more in the Chi, Northwest IN or Southwest MI. So if you like the rest of my profile and am interested drop me a line.
