Christmas is cumming, why aren't I?

So here we are, a week from christmas and once again I find myself thinking "Bah Humbug". Looks like it's going to be another round of family arguments, having to be nice to the ex whilst she's at the grandparents with my litle lad. Friends deciding that actually they don't really want to come along to the party, and who wants to go to a party anyway? All that alcohol to be drunk and food to be eaten, and games to play.. oh hang on parties are the good bit!
Anyway, roll on 2008 and a Happy Humbug to everyone!

Having been talking to a couple of ladies I have met on here I am beginning to realise that I am one of that rare breed, a gentleman. It appears that most men think that sending a revealing or explicit email is the way to get into a woman's knickers, whereas in reality, the ladies I have chatted to actually want to be treated as indivduals, not sex objects. I'm sure that there are some people on here it works for, but I'm not one, I much prefer to get to know a person before jumping into bed with them, if that is indeed the outcome!

Do Trees have feelings?

No, don't worry, I'm not turning into a tree hugger, just wondering if trees can tell what is going on around them, because if they can then one special tree had something to talk about recently. It was just the right size and shape and when she put her hands on the trunk and bent over giving me a real come on look over her shoulder I am afraid that it just happened. The poor tree must have wondered what was going on for the next 20 minutes!
Anyway, The tree is now feeling very lonely and I am unable to repeat the experience for it with the lady as she has got herself a new fella (good for her too), so there is a big vacancy for someone to come and help me keep the tree company for an afternoon.
Any Takers?
