Well Morning is here. time to drag out of bed and get the day started. I am the type that is up early, usually around 4am by choice. I do enjoy a few minutes laying in bed contemplating the day, then up and at it, this old rooster is crowing to greet the sunrise. Of course, when the opportunity presents it self, I do enjoy having her at my side.Several days a week, I take the brutes (my dogs) for a jog, now that is an eye opener . Do you dread mornings? Or do you embrace the day ? What is your wakeup routine? Oh yes, coffee is an absolutely essential part of the morning ritual, it would be uncivilized otherwise

Can you believe it? Another of my favorite foods celebration, NATIONAL COLD CUTS DAY . Should I reconsider how many food favorites I have.  Naah I will keep my "list". Ham, turkey, salami, and yes I will admit it, a rare treat of bologna  . One degree or another , cold cuts are what seems to be a world wide commodity . My guess is that is partially a way to preserve the meat to a certain extent. Or as is most likely here for now as a way to treat ourselves. A good meal, something to serve at a party , so many uses. Dagwood will eat his heart out on March 3rd because it’s National Cold Cuts Day. Call them lunch meats, deli meats, sandwich meats, or cold cuts. Some like them thick, while others stack them mile high. Others still just like them with cheese and crackers. However you like them, National Cold Cuts Day was made for sandwich and snack makers. There are the deli staples like the humble turkey and ham. Then there are the culinary delights like salami and prosciutto and flavors that require a more acquired taste like head cheese and braunschweiger. Whatever your taste, there is a cold cut for everyone. Well, everyone except the vegetarian.
Do you enjoy cold cuts? Is there a particular type? How do you enjoy it, sandwich, salad, etc. I am a mustard guy with it.

Wow, today is NATIONAL PEANUT BUTTER LOVER’S DAY ! One of those things that has been a favorite (I have so many favorites ) of mine since a . It is remarkably tasty and very healthy. I have noted its presence world wide to one degree or another. I eat it in various products, on a sandwich , or when I am particularly "bad" the spoonful. Do you enjoy peanut butter? Do you recall when you were introduced to it? Be truthful, what is / are your favorite ways to consume it? The goober has been paired, blended and added with many tasty results!
The creamy, nutty goodness that is peanut butter is so amazingly delicious that when we pair it with creamy and dreamy chocolate, we almost have bacon.

I think that most of us male and female do admire the derriere of the opposite sex and maybe same sex. If you do, what is it about a "butt" that attracts you? If not why not? It is getting colder here, so I have to step up my exercise regime to compensate. It is a bit tougher with this virus thing. Sometimes the "scenery" at the gym is very good, other times, not so much ( the gym is on a military installation). In the past I have enjoyed going with my partner to the gym. There is something about a person working hard, breathing hard that is sexy to me. Do you work out at a gym facility? Do you have an alternate program? If not why not? If you do what do you enjoy about it?

Isn't this a cool "National Day"? It is NATIONAL TOAST DAY! There has been toast in my life forever. Always a good way to spice up plain old bread. You can eat it plain, with traditional butter or almost any other choice. Another variable is what kind of bread? In my mind all are good choices. And through out the world I have been offered good choices. Perhaps we have overlooked the necessity of toast, and it shall have its due. We’re able to toast it to a variety of shades pleasing everyone. Whether we lightly toast it or char it to a dark crisp, it serves as a perfect medium for building breakfast or sandwiches. It accepts seasoning quite well, too. Add butter, gee, avocado, or honey. It doesn’t matter your preference. Cinnamon and sugar? Well, it might depend on your mood.
Or perhaps the bread you have on hand. Is it cinnamon raisin bread or whole wheat? Do you only have two ends left? Some think those are the best kinds of toast. Others well, you can’t teach everyone the best kinds of toast making.
Are you a toast person? Is there a type bread you prefer ? How about a coating for it? I can never pass up butter . What is the strangest location you have been in when you ate toast? For me it was a typically filthy part of Afghanistan , toast was good, location sucked

It has been sometime, but as a young fellow, we used to play in the car all the time. Maybe because we never had the money for a room, or maybe we were just more flexible. I know that if I were as amorous as I used to be in a car , I think I would hurt something. We still "fool around" in the car on occasion, so all is not lost. Have you ever "played" in a vehicle? I am curious, how many of us have ever been to a nude beach, or nude pool? If you have, was it a fun experience? If you have not, would you like to go to one and experience it? I have, I really enjoyed the freedom of the nudity. I have to admit, it took some time to get used to it , but was well worth the effort. What are the pros and cons of public nudity on the beach or at the pool (assuming is a legal location for adults). I am looking forward to reading your experiences and opinions.

I think I may be going a bit bonkers, especially food wise. Would you believe it is NATIONAL STICKY BUN DAY . With these limitations set by the virus, I think I am just starting to get my "addictions" fired up. Know I understand that too many of them are not healthy, but they sure test good . What I truly like is that there are so many different flavors to indulge in. One of my favorite times is baking them with one of my FWBs, she has a magnificent recipe and willingly spoils me with it .
Most often served for breakfast or as a dessert, sticky buns consist of rolled pieces of leavened dough. Most contain brown sugar and sometimes cinnamon. Before the dough is placed in the pan, the pan is lined with sticky sweet ingredients such as maple syrup, honey, nuts, sugar, and butter. When the buns are finished baking, the baker flips the pan upside-down so the sticky bottom becomes the topping.
Famous cousins to the sticky bun are the cinnamon roll, caramel roll and monkey bread.
Have you had a Sticky Bun? Is there a particular style that you like? How about making them? To be honest a good bakery is my favorite source. I think I am going to slip out and buy more than a couple for today
