Memorial Day (previously, but now seldom, called Decoration Day[1]) is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.[2] The holiday is now observed on the last Monday of May, having been observed on May 30 from 1868 1970." There have been so many people that have sacrificed them selves while in service our nation. Also their families are suffering the lose of their family or friends. I usually volunteer at the local veterans cemetery the elderly grave sites, but the circumstances this year have stopped visiting for at least this year. I hope that you have the time to spend at least a little time to remember these folks .

As many of you know, I am a bit of a coffee hog. Just how important is a hot beverage to you, to start your day? For me it is coffee, and I suspect for others it is tea?. There is something soothing to me, sipping a hot cup of coffee in the morning. It seemed to be a constant while I was in the military.While we are at it, is there a style of coffee you prefer to use? I am a medium roast guy. I have never developed a taste for tea though. While we are on the morning subject, do you eat breakfast? If you do, is it considered important for you to start the day? For me, it is my foundation for the day, gets me fueled and ready to go.

I have to step up my exercise regime to compensate. It is a bit tougher with this virus thing. Fortunately it seems to be going away. Sometimes the "scenery" at the gym is very good, other times, not so much ( the gym is on a military installation). In the past I have enjoyed going with my partner to the gym. There is something about a person working hard, breathing hard that is sexy to me. Do you work out at a gym facility? Do you have an alternate program? If not why not? If you do what do you enjoy about it?

I heard a subject the radio being discussed and thought would be fun see what you may have say. The subject,, “Craziest thing you did while intoxicated? I am sure we are pristine in our behavior, but maybe you have heard about “someone” that did something silly or naughty while partying and or consuming adult beverages. In my years in the military , I saw many things, some unbelievable. But of course my demeanor was above reproach . So tell us your favorite or most embarrassing party / drinking story. I got a reminder yesterday. A person running or walking into a door ! I do not know why, but I will bust out laughing and have fun. I know I should rush and assist them, and eventually I do that, but it does initially trip my switch. I have been a door walker in the past. The worst was being in a place that I was for a long time. When just one morning busting into the door, shaking myself silly. Another time, in the Air Force I had to respond with a team to an emergency. We came around a corner and hit a door at full run. The door was seriously damaged and when we had a chance to check we had a bunch of bumps and bruises. So how is your "Door Walking"? Are you a fortunate one that has never did one? If you have, how often would you say it happens. Are you like me and laugh you butt off when you witness and incident.

I am in for a baking spell !! I think it is time for birthday cakes. After all it is spring time and time of fun. As a secondary , why not make them naughty? Of course adults only. And if possible, I could enjoy recruiting baking assistants . Have you ever seen a naughty birthday cake in person? Or have you assisted baking them? What would be a choice for baking or giving to a friend? would you like to assist in preparation, or place your order for one in the future?

A question that has plagued mankind forever.... Which do you prefer on your partner: Stockings, Socks ,or Barefoot? ~ : ( Today is the day. Tax day has been move from April to May. This Covid thing did it last year and did it again this year. I guess it is supposed to make things easier. But I have to be honest, it just made me lazy and I started working on the taxes almost too late. I guess the years of accomplishment have set the route. Our government is always trying to "help" us. What a mess, since I was helping various neighbors, we were all screwed up being organized. All is done properly now and waiting for next year. If you are here in the US, how have you been able to cope with this a second time? Was it a hassle?

Aaah I can feel spring coming forward. Bright sunshine, warm, perfect for sitting on the porch ,drinking a coffee. I have so many memories of the family and growing up in upstate New York. I have been away from there for so many years and am very seriously moving towards the moving . So many differences and so many pluses. A favorite is th e various brands and styles of cheeses. I had some great memories of swim suit time. Why you may ask? Well it is pretty ladies, nothing special. I am getting more and more beach oriented. Do you have a style that you enjoy? I am being honest, I do enjoy whatever she chooses. I will not deny that the skimpier the better me. I am of course referring butt dialing your cell phone . I think is becoming a minor plague on society! I am thinking is about carrying your phone in a butt pocket. And failing secure the screen (or what ever is called). I am not certain about all the complications that cause , but I am sure does cause problems at times. I have even heard of "bad guys" making 9 calls and getting busted. I do know of a friend that made a butt call his mother causing some embarrassing moments. I have almost always carried my phone in a front pocket, which has seemed save me the drama. Have you ever received a butt ? Was bad or funny you? More importantly, have you ever made a butt ?

I was at a florists yesterday. Although I am not a "flower guy" normally, I was pleasantly overwhelmed by the scents. So soothing, such delightful sights. I watched as an elderly man was making his selection and purchase. Through the conversation that I overheard, he purchases small flower arrangements for his wife several days a week. What a sweet idea and must really make her day each time. I started think and thought of several ladies that I will send flowers on occasion. I doubt anyone could be annoyed by a random flower gift . Do you enjoy flowers? Giving, receiving or both? What about the is most fun you?
