Listen closely... Can you hear The requiem echoes inside my body?! Or is there only silence Piercing through our eardrums into your mind? Today I dug a pit inside my flesh To rest you there... The leaded casket is impaling deeply Through layers of soft tissue Creating crimson streams that flow upwards Towards my broken mind But in their way, they will converge And be diluted in rivers of cold tears. In time, as any other mortal, You will decay inside of me And shall become another stone In the cemetery of memory Awaiting for the second advent You may become a happy phantom too Or even one mermaid, Thesalonike Living in the Aegean sea of phantasies.

Dew tears trickle down eroded tombstones
They are the only shadows
That wept upon the epitaphs in eons
Their untold stories rust in dusty stone
Planted in that hot hour
Desire seeds grew fed with love
Perhaps laughingly God watered
The spreading weeds that crawl
Until the grief is gone for all

Love Parade, a painting by Francis Picabia
Lost without desire
Whispered sounds bleeding through my soul
Touching love wounds
Where red silently walked

Emission nebula in the constellation Cepheus
Dancing I stumbled onto heaven
Through cold walls of dreams
In fire winds I found desire
And crawled through desert mist

The Scream. A painting by Edvard Munch
Your spirit walks on moonlit snow
As warm liquor fills our hearts
An elephant is our life,
Two sad and mingled souls crying
As the skies turned red that evening

Dance me to the end of love, a painting by Jack Vettriano
Skims of intricate lace veil
Their pulsing desire
Throbbing feather-like shadows dancing
Across corporeal existence
Gliding beyond the visible world

Node, a painting of Rodica Toth Poiata
Your laughter brought back that moment
When I first saw the glowing desire in your green eyes
As my hand was gliding over
The ribbon and seams of your velvet gown
I stopped... before my breath
Found the doorway to your cherry lips

Time curves crossed
As we wait for Northern Lights
With loud shocks
Our crashed hopes are striking
The Heavens

The fallen angel, a painting by Alexandre Cabanel
Gaze in the moonlit crystal
Veiled by crimson clouds
You'll see the dance of fallen angels
Feeling the spell of love

A while back I wrote this little poem about the Purgatory. Looking for a painting to describe it I found this rather extraordinary black and white painting. The image of the veil, present in both of them, is one of those happy coincidences again?!
Purgatory, a painting by Bogdan Zagan
Gray souls plastered that cage
Their fate yet suspended in time
Shades confined in white emptiness
Unaware of the satin veil
That encases their frozen countenances
Mute creatures forever liberated from love

The Hourglass Nebula
When you are away
My shadow yarns for the moon...
Dancing, my soul falls through hourglasses
Shattered from desire

Yves Klein -"Untitled Fire Color Painting"
In silence I watch the tragic beauty of fire
Warped by shallow indifference
Trapped into magic dreams
Who are you?

Footprints in the sand, a painting by Valerie Stepehenson
Looking at the grey honey sky
I found the trace of our unknown desire
Being washed by a brisk breeze.
You walked away and laughed
When footprints of my love
Appeared on the sand
