There are certain beliefs I hold that have no basis in fact or certainty... Like, people go a little nutso the night of a full moon, many women go into labot at the full moon or with a big change in barometric pressure.....I also believe I can jinx myself...Like if I'd be bold enough to say "Gee, it's not snowed in a while", in the next day or two it would, in fact, snow....Or as I said the other day, "I've not had my annual crappy winter cold. Maybe it'll skip me this year".... Well, I went to bed last night with a little bit of a stuffy nose and woke up at 4 am feeling like I'd been hit by a bus...Sore throat, headache, stuffy nose, watery eyes....So I got up to pee and take some drugs & I'll be going back to bed to try to sleep it off...

Left the house this AM to take #3 to school and took a digger in the driveway. The driveway is gravel and had this layer of ice on it that I didn't see. So one minute I'm walking to my car & the next, I'm flat on my back on the driveway. I happened to cushion my fall with my big ole' ass but smacked my elbow on the ice and twisted something in my lower back. Both the elbow & the back hurt like a MoFo.....Is it legal to shoot a driveway??

So this morning, two of my met my HoneyBunny's for the first time. I was, and am still, kinda freaked out about that. I'm not positive why but have some ideas. My 2 oldest had met his oldest but no one had met his darling .....He'd met my , I've met his and we all get along famously but the meeting was like the last step at integration or something. Today freaked me out more than I think him meeting my parents will.... I actually felt kinda queasy about it... I've met all of the important members of his family so I'm not sure why this has me so weirded out.....Maybe it's like the worlds colliding?? Prior to this, it was him, his & me or me, my & him but now the lines are more blurred???

I have 3 boys; 20, 19 & 13.... They all have hollo legs in which they store food, me thinks. Anyway, they can eat and come meal time, are often STARVING to death. So, tonight I decide to cook which is NOT an every night occurrance around here. I get some steaks out of the freezer & thaw them, chop some onions, make green beans and fried potatoes (#2 asked for those). I get everything cooking and get #3's snack ready for tomorrow when he's doing a water safety thing with boy scouts.... Well, dinner is ready and I call the monsters...#2 comes down to eat, takes his plate of food and goes back into his bedroom to play video games....#1 wanders down, says "I'm tired, I'm gonna take a nap" and goes to bed....#3 wanders down and looks at the food, turns up his nose and decides he'd rather had dessert than any real food, so he hacks off a chunk of angel food cake, tosses it in a bowl and drowns it in Cool Whip....So I clean up all of the crap I made for dinner, after making myself a plate, and put it in the fridge.... It just annoys me that I go to all of the work of really COOKING and the just blow me off.... Sure, everyone will wander down to get stuff to eat, so they'll eat it but why can't they eat with me?? Or make an effort to eat like a family??

I've noticed, when I get to the sign in page for A*F*F, that there are pictures of people, supposedly, from my town, with a caption something like...Other people looking for playmates in XXXXX WI. Well, the town I live in isn't THAT big and I've NEVER seen any of the people who supposedly live in my town before. WHAT a scam.....

So I open an email in my inbox this AM and have a note from someone who declares he is a "real man" and indicates I should contact him so we can "hook up". I KNOW my profile indicates I'm not interested in "hooking up" and that if there's an interest in a single guy, my partner & I would contact him....
My question is....What makes this particular man a "real man"? Does that make the rest of the men "fake men"? Do "real men" have different qualifications? Or different equipment? Or different values? Or different priorities? Someone help me out here, I'm confused.

OK, so the Governor of NY is mixed up in a scandal..... He didn't think he'd get caught? He thought he was above the law? He thought it was all just a joke??? Why in the name of Zues' butthole would ANY public official get involved in something that smarmy and ummmm....illegal?? Oops, I was confused? Oops, I didn't mean it? Oops, it slipped??? At some point, be responsible, be an adult and MAKE GOOD CHOICES.... I'd give the same advice to the Governor as I do to my .... Ask yourself TWO important questions....Will I get in trouble if I do this?? Will someone be hurt if I do this??? If ya can answer yes to either, don't do it!!!

So I was bitching yesterday about a migraine and wondering what I ate to give myself one...Well, I go to bed last night & slip on the CPAP nasal pillows with adjustable head strap and think "Damn, that's kinda tight" and remember that the night before it was sliding around so I tightened the straps...DUH!!!! Too tight and probably caused my headache....Man, what a blonde chick.....
Oh and WTF is it with being so cold??? It's March, right??? Supposed to be easing toward spring???

I really, really hate waking up in the morning with a migraine. I'm still working on what I ate yesterday to bring on the migraine. Prior to this, it was Chinese food and we didn't have Chinese last night so I'm scratching my head.... I got up this AM, took some Excedrin Migraine & Imitrex, had some toast so I wouldn't barf up the drugs and hunkered down in my cool, dark cave. I'm feeling a bit better now so I think I'll take a shower and see what I can dig up for supper.

WHY does God let stupid people breed?? I mean, really, people...Is it that much to ask to have a modicum of intelligence and courtesy?? I'm in line at the 12 items or less lane at the grocery store and am about 3 people from the checkout clerk when someone behind me starts bashing my heels with their cart and loudly saying "Excuse me...Ma'am....Clerk....I have a question". First of all, if ya have a f*cking question, ask at the service desk....Second, ya ram that cart into my heels again I'm going to have to bitch-slap ya....Are people really that oblivious or stupid or inconsiderate??? Christ on a Crutch.... Fucking IDIOTS

Well, my HoneyBunny and I finally got to do our Valentine's Day away and it was simply amazing.... Months ago, I'd purchased tickets to Rain at the Overture Center in Madison & we made an evening of it...We left here around 2:30 P.M. drove to the hotel...Got out the toys and played for a while....Just when I thought I was all done in, Mr.Wonderful did some new trick and WOW, it was...blissfully amazing..... We tried to decide where to have dinner that was within walking distance of the Overture Center and decided on the MadCity Crab House... The food was fantastic as was the pomegranate martini... And dessert.... Then we wandered to the show and found our seats... The show was mind blowing. The HoneyBunny decided the performers must have studied the FabFour extensively as they had mannerisms, habits and body positioning down to a "T". All in all a fantastic night was had by both of us....Great memories....Better company....Great weekend

I was in the basement this afternnon taking the laundry from the washer & tossing it into the dryer and putting another load in the washer....So I do all of that and walk back across the basement floor to walk back upstairs to read the book I'd started....I get about half-way across the floor and OF A BITCH....Something just jabbed into the sole of my right foot....so I hobble up the stairs and yank off my sock...Well, there's blood dripping off my foot, a big honkin' hole in my sock and a gash at the bottom of my 4th toe....I grab some paper towels and press them against my foot thinking "There is NO freakin way I'm going to get stitches in my foot"..... SO, being a nurse, I apply a pressure dressing, lay down on the floor and stick my foot up on the couch...I hang out for 10 minutes and then look at my foot.... OK, so it stopped bleeding, I'm gonna go slap a Bandaide on it and stick my foot up on the back of the couch but we don't have any stinking bandaides..... I ask one of the to go get some and the oldest does so I finally get a bandaide and have to mop up the little river of blood streaming up my leg and apply another pressure dressing with the bandaide....Jesus, that hurts....
