Welcome one and all to my personal blog. Here is where I will go into detail about myself to give all of you a better understanding of my life. Two years ago I lost my wife to cancer. She was my best friend and supported me in all I did. We had a fantastic sex life, which I miss very much today. I realized that it was not doing me any good physically or mentally to keep pondering over why and grieving. It was then I decided to live my life to its fullest each and every day and to appreciate all the small things in life we take for granted. My entire life, until that point, had been a sheltered life. I have left the shelter and couldn't be happier about the choice.
I guess you can say that leaving the shelter has shown me what pleasure really is and I am loving it. My sex drive has never been this high in my entire life and the ability to perform beyond what I thought as good to being excellent. I still miss having a companion with me all the the time and I am hoping I might find one here on this site.
I am a deeply devoted family man and friend. One thing I kept with me from the shelter was the manners I learned as a and young adult. Old school manners. And I also profess being a gentleman at all times. I do not judge people in any manner. That is not my job. I have the utmost respect for all humans and especially the ladies. They are, in my mind, by far the dominant sex in our society. They are smarter, able to multitask easily and are the cornerstone of families and relationships. My hat off to all you beautiful ladies. I do mean beautiful, because I believe that God never created anything ugly.
I have been fortunate and blessed to have survived this long in my life. Being a heavy smoker, I thought for certain I would be dead by now. I do intend to start using Chantix after the holidays to aid in my goal to quit smoking. My health is great as well. Although I say it is good, there is one thing I have that cannot be cured, only kept in check. Herpes Simplex. I have had this disease for over 25 years and with the dosage of Valtrex I am taking, it has kept it well in check with no breakouts at all. Those, including my wife, that I have had sexual encounters with have never been infected and I am thankful. They all chose to have sex with me even though I told them of my condition.
So, here I am present day and still looking for a soul mate to spend my life with. It may or may not happen, but I stay optimistic about the possibilities. Maybe someone who is reading this blog right now is the one. You never know who someone really is until you meet them personally. I have set my goal for the woman of my dreams in my profile.
