This may get me trouble. But, at this point... I'm already in way too deep.

Ladies: how many times have you heard a guy tell you that he's "not your typical guy; he's "different". Right about now I expect that everyone is already rolling their eyes and saying "If I only had a nickel..." That's because you've heard a guy say that to you and than he turns out to be "just like every guy that you do meet."

Before I continue, I haven't really figured out what a "typical guy" is, but from what I can tell... a "Typical Guy" is defined as one who only wants one thing and is willing to say (or do) anything to get that. He's someone who misreads the signs and thinks that someone is "interested" in him when they are just genuinely being friendly. A typical guy is also perceived (by some) to be someone who "over pursues" and is "overly friendly". Also, he's someone that only wants to talk about himself in order to give the appearance of "success". Basically, the "typical guy", is an idiot who has no clue what is going on.

As you can probably guess by now... I've been told that I acted "like a typical guy" when I was trying to be atypical. The funny thing is that after we're placed in the category of a "typical guy", we RARELY get a second chance to prove otherwise.
