Education Budget vs. Defense Budget- Not a very good return on investment.

I don't know about you but I'm still trying to understand why we are spending so little in education, and so much on the military and defense budgets if all it took to outfox our trillion dollar defense system was nothing but a few guys with $3 box cutters? Yet in the hands of these men who supposedly could elude every special forces team we have for 10years, and the CIA, FBI, Homeland Security, and everybody else we had looking for them over the next 10 years by hiding in a cave? Sounds like we're over paying, by A LOT!
Then again maybe they just got really super lucky and every little part of the plan magically fell into place. Well maybe?
Could it be the military industrial complex is a corporation just like any other.
Protecting Democracy? Hardly.
Maximize Profits? Damn well better believe it.
Just a maze of subcontractors, millions made in profit, huge defense contracts, and it damn sure isn't the soldiers who put their lives on the line getting rich from it.
How much longer before you decide to say- Enough Already!!!

When was the Commission created, and when is it supposed to report?
The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (known as the 9-11 Commission) was created by Public Law 107-306, signed by the President on November 27, 2002. P.L. 107-306 originally required the Commission to report to the President and Congress 18 months after enactment, or no later than May 27, 2004. Recently Congress passed and the President signed legislation which extends the reporting deadline by two months, to July 26, and the termination date by 30 days, to August 26. This additional time will allow the Commission to fulfill its mandate.
I know its a terribly difficult thing to even consider,but you really must follow the evidence for yourself, where ever it leads you. Find the truth. Have the courage to search for it.
It's all out there. Don't take my word for it.

It gets even worse..The commission was only created at the insistence of a group of widows who refused to accept what they were being told by the govt, who wouldn't shut up or go away. Bush was in essence forced into creating it. Both Cheney and the President refused to testify under oath in front of the commission when called to do so, and only agreed to meet with the commission if they appeared together and behind closed doors, off the record, and with no recording or transcript of any kind allowed. Does that sound like the action of someone who wanted to see the truth come to light?
Listen to the speech Bush gave after talking to the commission. Find it on you tube.
One final thought: Even the members of the commission have said that they were set up to fail, underfunded, rushed, and not given access to all the documents and witnesses they asked for.
Don't take my word for it, find their own statements online.

I know Affairlook is a strange venue for this type of info, but I believe it is just THAT IMPORTANT. I hope you find it as shocking as I did.
Did you know there is a soldier who needs our support very badly.
Bradley Manning- only 22 yrs old. had the courage and bravery to sacrifice his own freedom and possibly even his life in order to bring to light what our government is hiding from the public. He hoped that if we knew about their lies and coverups and saw what was really happening, it could be openly debated and stopped.
He did this because he knew we (the public) have been misled by our leaders about the war we're fighting.
Even if you disagree with what he did, as Americans who believe in the rights we hold so precious, and that so many have already died fighting in order for us to have,so don't we owe him at least those rights? As a U.S. citizen: Does he not also deserve the right to a fair trial, protection from cruel or inhumane treatment, to be presumed innocent until proven guility?
We are not being told the truth by the main stream media.
You must educate yourself about what is really occuring!
You have the means to do it....do you have the will to find the truth? Read news from other parts of the world or alternative sources in the U.S. You will be surprised and alarmed.
