Poll Results Are In. The results are surprising

In recent months, I conducted a survey about running into people you know at swinger events. The same poll was posted to 7 groups and my blog, and 72 responses were received, as follows:
Never ran into anyone: 36 (50 percent)
Yes, and it unnerved them/me/us: 5 (7 percent)
Yes, and we had a laugh out of it: 12 (16 percent)
Yes, and we played together: 7 (11 percent)
Yes, and it turned into a regular thing: 12 (16 percent)
While this is not big enough of a sample, it would appear that if you are involved long enough, you have a 50/50 shot that you will run into a friend, family member, coworker, church member or other person you know. The good news is the odds are less than 10 percent that someone would be unnerved by it.
So, be prepared that sooner or later, you have a 1 in 2 chance of running into someone.
I found that I knew common folks with about 75% of the folks I met...but didn't run into anyone I directly knew. It truly is a small world.
This doesn't mean that you have a 50/50 chance every time you walk out the door, but over time, you may run into someone...
