First of all would like to wish all Mom's, Step-mom's & Grandmother's a very Happy and Safe Mother's Day!!
What should be a happy day in my life, really isn't this year.. Not only do I not have Jami and Becca with me for Mother's Day, it is also the day that I would be celebrating my 6th wedding anniversary, as we all know God needed his Angel up there with him, and he is watching down on me, the girls and everyone I hold near and dear to me.
Happy Anniversary Baby.. I love and miss you !!!

I am getting on with my life, but on days like this I have set backs, and I am sure I will for a while, but it does help for me to be able to sit and type out my feelings and express myself.
I will have Jana to spend the day with me, and we will try to make it the best that we can..
Well it is going on 4 am I am going to try and get some sleep..

Been living down here for 3 weeks now and I love it,
we are 95% settled into the new house. Jana is enrolled in high school, she is doing great and making new friends. She attended her Military Ball last night, she is so beautiful and growing up so fast.
Everyone around here is so nice and friendly. Within the next week or so I will start looking for a job, don't have much to do anymore around the house. So I get bored easily during the day.. LOL and anyone that knows me, knows that it is never good for me to get bored.. I will admit I do miss all my friends back home, but I don't miss Baton Rouge.. How could I miss that place when I am now living in paradise??
I experienced my first air boar ride, seen lots of Gator's (Tiger Bait) LOL Yes, I know I am in Gator Nation, but I will always bleed Purple and Gold baby..
Just wanted to post a little of what is going on with me.. Will try to stay in touch..
Having a wonderful time, wish you could all be down here with me!!

Hello from beautiful sunny Florida.. Moving into the house this weekend, so been enjoying our time down here resting and relaxing.. Been out to the beach a few times, laid out at the pool, got a little too much sun, but enjoying every minute of it. One of the pictures I took from the beach.. Will blog more later, going lay out at the pool and catch some more rays...

As I sit here and type this message I am with mixed emotions.. We will be leaving Baton Rouge on Saturday April 5th and heading to Florida. It is something that I have wanted for a while and finally able to make it happen. I will always cherish all the wonderful friends that I have here in Baton Rouge, and surrounding areas, having each and everyone of you in my life is a blessing, especially those that were there for me when Ron passed away. I don't think I would have made it without ya'll love and support.. I will miss all of you, our drink nights, our meet and greets, the summers at the pool, watching LSU football, and just hanging out.. So I ask that if you can join me on Thursday April 3rd for a farewell drink, at Daiquiri Cafe Sherwood Forest Blvd. around 6 pm.. Hope to see most of you there...

Hard to believe it has already been a year since you left us, seems like only yesterday.. My whole life has been turned upside and inside out..

Got my room reserved, and pulling out Friday Sept. 21st around noon and heading to the NHRA Fall Nationals @ Ennis, Texas.. If I am lucky enough to have someone to work all day for me Friday and someone to pick the girls up, hell I just might leave the Thursday afternoon..
After working for the last month and a half, I think I finally deserve a break.. My new desk clerks are trained as best as they could be.. and I feel ok leaving the hotel with them, for me to have a few days of fun and relaxation..
Yes, you wonder how can I say I will relax at the track.. It is the sounds, the smell, the vibrations, the thrill, the speed.. Just seems to help me get away from it all and relax..
When I attended the race in Houston earlier this year, I had already made up my mind, that I wasn't going to make a decision about anything except what to wear that day, and when we stopped to eat, what I would order from the menu. I had the most relaxing weekend and look forward to having another one..
Also my next Florida vacation is already planned, hotel booked just waiting for November 16th to get here, this one will be a short trip, leave Friday night and return on Monday night.. Just to get away, go visit friends, and spend some time on the beach..

Been a while since I have been here. Lots of things going on in my life right now..
My plans to move to Florida have changed, but not out of the works yet.. Just taking me a little longer to get there as a permanant resident. I am planning a trip down there in November me and the girls will leave Friday and return on Monday evening.
I have been working 7 days a week, we are shorthanded at the front desk right now and just when it seems that there is light at the end of the tunnel, it turns out to be another damn train... LOL I recently hired 2 guys to work, one for night audit and the other for weekend days and 2 days during the week.. Come into work Saturday morning and my night desk clerk informs me that he is moving to N. La and that this coming Saturday will be his last day.. So the guy that I was training to work days, is now being trained to work nights, and that leaves me working those 7 days again. You would think that someone out there would want/need a job. The job isn't very hard, just have to be outgoing, friendly, and learn to work the system which is very easy.. My typical day is come in at 7, make out housekeeping reports , make sure breakfast is still stocked up, write out daily report, and check people out.. By 11 am which is checkout time.. I have one of the housekeepers check the rooms that have not checked out at the front desk, finish up my paperwork, and then usually just chill, relax, watch tv or whatever till 3 pm comes around..
Both of my baby girls are in High School now.. They seem to like it so far, but then again it is only the 2nd week.. LOL
Becca has a job now   Last night was her first night, she likes it, but she complained that her feet hurt, told her to deal with it.. it is part of life.. LOL
Other than that not much else going on, don't have much of a social life anymore.. Trying to set up a drink night for all the locals in Baton Rouge that want join us.. Been a while since we all got together and had a few drinks.. We are way overdue for it..
I think that is all that is going on in my life right now, well all that I can think of or really want to talk about.. LOL

Today would have been our anniversary, but God needed his Angel back.. He didn't realize that we needed him here also..
Eight years ago today a wonderful man came into my life, he showed me how to live and love again. Five years ago today he made me his wife, to love, honor and cherish, in sickness and in health (which we both had our share of) till death do us apart.. Well as you all know if with his passing, I do still love him and miss him so much.. He was my everything, yes, I know that we had our ups and downs (but everyone has that) but thru it all he was there for me.. He made me a better person, he knocked the walls down around my heart, and showed me what it was like to love and be loved.. He opened my eyes to new experiences and places.. So as I pick up the pieces and go on with my life, as he would have wanted me to, I am very thankful for all the wonderful friends that have been there for me and the girls.. Thanks for all the support, advice, friendship and love.. I don't think I would have made it without you all..
And to my darling husband... Happy Anniversary Baby... Just wish that you were here with me so that I can say it to you in person, but I know that you are with me in spirit and will always be in my heart..

Hiya!!
Sorry haven't posted in a while, between work and the girls I have been staying busy. I was suppose to post about my weekend sooner, but better late than never. Anyways, I had to catch up at work since I missed 2 days and Easter weekend I was in bed with strep throat.. and the week after that I got a stomach virus that was going around, missed another day of work..
Those of you that know me know that I have been working crazy hours at the hotel. We were shorthanded on night shift, my boss and his wife welcomed in a bouncing baby boy March 18th, so since I am the manager I was pulling night shifts and still working part of the days.. There were days when I didn't sleep, didn't have time to sleep, or just couldn't sleep.
I attending my first NHRA event at No Problem Raceway, that was a blast.. All that speed and power... My friend that invited me to join him, had earplugs for me.. Thank God!!! But failed to mention to me that when the Top Alcohol Dragsters took off from the starting line, that sitting up in the stands on the metal bleachers, everything would vibrate.. OMG OMG OMG!!! I almost wanted to straddle the seat the next time.. LOL We had a wonderful time.. It was nice to get out and do something new. After the race was over we walked to the parking lot, said our goodbyes, and he kissed me.. OMG OMG OMG!!! Can I tell you.. I had the first of two orgasms just from his kisses..
We also spent 4 days and 3 nights in Houston.. We attended the NHRA Spring Nationals.. I thought that No Problem was fun, this was AWESOME, even considering the rain... The race was called later that afternoon on Saturday because of all the rain..  Which really sucked in a way.. So we spent most of the time sitting in the truck talking and napping.. I got a little too much sun on Friday, but that was ok.. it was worth it. We drove home Sunday evening and I had to come back to reality.. I had been working crazy hours, and shifts at work, starting to get depressed and run down.. so I was looking forward to this trip.. I had already made up my mind that I was going there to relax, the only decision I was going to make was what to eat and what to wear.. Everything else I just let it go.. So that is where the coming back to reality hit me, as we were driving down the street to my house, I was like I am not ready to go back to reality.. But all in all we had a fantastic time.. Plan on attending again next year.. Hell we already got tickets for the Saturday race..  Besides the race it was nice to get away and spend time with my SuperMan  ...
He picked me up Thursday around noon as scheduled and we headed to Houston.. had a nice ride, listened to music and had small talk.. I even behaved myself..  Got checked into the hotel, which I reserved but didn't tell him I had a jacuzzi suite reserved for us. We started to unpack I had a suitcase and a bag, and he just had a bag...  Haven't figured out how men can pack such a small bag but yet still have everything they need.. Me on the other hand, I had to pack all my bathroom stuff, shampoo, 2 conditioners, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, hairspray, razer, shaving gel, body wash, makeup, brush, comb, 3 pairs of shoes, 3 nighties with matching robes, socks, bras, 3 pairs of shorts, capri's, and then shirts to go with all that.. LOL I also had my laptop with me, a bottle of wine, a bottle of Scotch (his choice of drink)and a few surprises I had for him.. Got all the clothes unpacked and he was already done.. As I was taking the Scotch and his surprises out of my suitcase I gave them to him.. so that left all my bathroom stuff.. 
We started hugging and kissing, and he tells me that we can't do anything because I wasn't finished unpacking my suitcase.. I closed the suitcase, threw it on the floor and said I am done.. Let's just say that it didn't take long for neither one of us to get out of our clothes..  We both decided that we were getting hungry, so we cleaned up, got dressed and had dinner, came back to the room, and decided to get in the jacuzzi, he poured me a glass of wine and had scotch on the rocks..We relaxed in the jacuzzi for a while till it was getting a little too hot.. I slipped into one of my nighties, laid in bed next to him and we talked, watched tv, had a few more drinks, kissed and that lead to other things, It was really nice to be wrapped in his arms, that is something that I really miss all the hugging, snuggling, cuddling, and kissing.. Woke up Friday morning, he walked to the lobby got both of us coffee, laid in bed watching the news to see what was going on mostly for the weather.. We showered, got dressed and headed to the track. It was a beautiful day.. We walked around the pit areas, seen some of the drivers, found our seats and settled in for a nice day of racing.. After qualifying we stopped and picked up something to eat and then headed back to the hotel. After we ate he poured us drinks, we got into the jacuzzi, relaxed for a bit,I put on a nightie and he put on his Super Man boxers that I picked up for him.. Damn he looks so SEXY!! We laid in bed waiting for my friend and her boyfriend to stop by, to get directions to the hotel they were staying at, since there wasn't any rooms available at the hotel we were at. After they visited for a little while, got directions and left, we were laying in bed, I had him turn over on his stomach grabbed a bottle of massage oil and massaged his entire body.. He offered to do me, but I had other plans.. Wake up Saturday morning it is pouring the rain, we had morning coffee again, and watched the weather to see when all the rain was going to move out, so that we could head to the track.. Well I got a little bored with the weather and decided to heat things up in the room a little.. We showered, got dressed and both decided that we were hungry.. We had breakfast at Cracker Barrel that morning and worked our way to the track, it is still raining.. LOL It stopped raining we made our way to the track, met up with my friend, her boyfriend and her after we walked the pit area for a while.. Sat down in the stands and guess what.. It started raining again.. We found shelter from the rain, and once it stopped he knew that it would take at least 2 hours to get the track dried, we walked to the truck and just chilled out.. Just when they announced that they would be starting in about 20 - 30 minutes, here comes another rain shower.. It was then decided that they would call the race, we headed back to the hotel, relaxed, had a few drinks, and got ready for bed.. Laying there in the dark, facing each other.. we start kissing.. and he tells me in 10 seconds I am going to fuck you. Well lets just say I was counting... LOL Told him time was UP... Yes I can be such a bitch.. LOL We had a wonderful night, just like all those before.. Woke up Sunday morning, there was still rain in the forecast, we showered, got dressed and started packing our bags.. Had another wonderful day at the track once they got it all dried out, they were even using a helicopter to dry the track that was so cool.. I took pictures..LOL
That was one of the most relaxing, wonderful weekends I have had in a long time.
I owe a BIG Thank you to my Super Man for taking time out of his busy schedule, and to take me away for the weekend.
Now my life is back to work, the girls, all their friends, finding time to sit and visit with my friends.. I will always have the memories and the pictures from that weekend..
In September they have the NHRA Fall Nationals in Dallas.. maybe I can have another weekend just like that one, but without the rain.. LOL But I am still waiting to get kissed in the rain
The girls get out of school May 24th.. I thought it was crazy before, it is going to get worse.. I planned a pool party for them on May 19th.. Becca's birthday is June 4th, having her a pool party on June 2nd.
Becca attended her Military Ball February 28th, Jana has her 8th grade prom on May 18th.. Seems there is always something going on with one or all of them at the same time..
As for me, I will be getting another year older in a few months..(but it is only a number) because I am still a at heart and refuse to grow old and UP..
Looking forward to Summer, we spend lots of time at the pool, swimming, BBQ'ing and of course working on my tan.. LOL
I am trying to plan a trip to Florida this summer for me and the girls sometime in July.. Haven't decided on the dates yet, we will probably be gone for 5 days.
Well I think I have caught up with everything.. If not, OOPS!!
I will try not to stay away from blogging so long next time.. But being a single mom of 3 keeps me busy..
Again, my Super Man thank you for my weekend getaway it was something that I needed and deserved.. Getting to spend time with you was as always, wonderful..

Mardi Gras is one of my favorite times of the year.. As it is approaching I will be making a few trips down to Metairie and New Orleans..

I had the most wonderful day Friday..
Woke up to a sexy man calling me, to let me know he was on his way to see me. I showered, shampooed and shaved.. Straighted up a little in the house, had a cup of coffee. Then brushed out my long red hair, put on makeup, my long blue dress that he loves so much, and I even put on a sexy blue thong.. (Yes, me in a thong) I packed a picnic basket for us, wine, cheese, crackers, ham, turkey, strawberries, cheesecake, and rose petals. I was just finishing up with my makeup when he got here, I met him in the dining room and we hugged and kissed each other for at least 5 minutes, I then offered him a cup of coffee, and he joined me in my bedroom. I sat at on my bed and was putting on my hardware (jewelry) and we had small talk. We then walked into the living room and he took me in his arms again and I felt like I was in heaven. I gave him a few things I picked up for him in Florida a coffee mug and Goofy, and then gave him a shirt I picked up for him from Florida for his birthday. I sat in the rocker and he sat on the sofa, and we than exchanged Christmas gifts (yes, I know it was late, but better late than never) and actually it was the 1st time we were able to work our schedules to have time off. After we opened our gifts, we both leaned into each other and shared more kisses. I got out of the rocker, and stood in front of him and we embraced in more kisses. I then noticed the door was open so I walked into the dining room to close it, and he followed me and we kissed again and I started running my hands all over his body, undressing him, kissing him all over his body. Decided that it was time to take it to the bedroom. He undressed and we continued to kiss and hold each other.. He laid on the bed and I kissed every inch of his body that I could... And the rest is private!!! Jump ahead about 30 - 45 minutes and we are laying in each other's arms, making small talk.. and decide we are going to continue on our plans we made for the day.. We both got cleaned up and dressed, and started our journey.. It was a day planned for us to just ride, listen to music, talk, and just relax.. Our journey ended up taking us into Mississippi on Hwy 19, got on Hwy 24 and headed to Woodville, we decided to see just how far and where 24 would end.. Well next time we know not to do that again.. We backtracked on 24 back to 61, drove South on 61 to St. Francisville, then took the Ferry across the Mississippi River to New Roads, and then proceeded back to Baton Rouge.. Well we had to have our picnic in the truck because it started raining, which was nice I was able to feed him.. We didn't get around to opening the bottle of wine, but that is ok there is always a next time. We returned back to my house, he picked up his gifts and had to go. We said our goodbyes, we thanked each other for a wonderful day and plan on doing it again soon.
So my wonderful friend I as always had a wonderful time with you and looking forward to our next journey, but this time we take a map with us.. LOL!!
I picked Beautiful as my mood, because he makes me feel beautiful inside and out!!
