Ugh. Tore my hamstring tendons a couple weeks ago and had surgery to repair them. Now I am stuck in a hip brace that keeps my leg immobile to let everything heal...and I will have this Damn thing on until the end of Feb. This winter is going to drag on and on and on. Can we fast forward to March please?

After a Saturday morning run, I felt a bit of a twinge in my Achilles tendon. I didn't think much of it, but it didn't go away. So off to the doctor I went. After some x-rays and a long wait in the examining room, I am stuck wearing a walking boot for the next four weeks to let it heal up. I guess I won't be running anytime soon, but at least I don't have a cast on and I can take this thing off in bed! Now if I can only find a sexy nurse to make these 4 weeks go by quickly...

A note to the ladies: I know that you are outnumbered at least 30:1 on here, and that gives you the ability to be selective. That's fine...I understand that. However, that does not give you the right to treat the men on here like crap. I have met a few women on here that have been wonderful persons...kind, respectful, and not only a true pleasure to talk with, but someone I enjoyed spending some time getting to know better. However, lately I have experienced several women that I have chatted with and arranged a meeting around my busy schedule only to have them not only flake out at the last minute, but not even have the courtesy to let me know. They just stop all communication--no excuses, no apologies, just...nothing. If you aren't interested, just say so. I am an adult, and I can take the rejection. Don't be a tease and get your kicks by playing games with me. I see many women on here complain about the guys on here being jerks. Well, unfortunately it appears the door swings both ways. Remember the golden rule--treat others the way you want to be treated. Now I know that not all the women on here do this, but given the few opportunities I get to meet people from this site, I want it to be a fun and enjoyable experience. I am trying not to let the few bad apples spoil it for me, but it's becoming harder to do that. If I contact you, it is because I am interested. If you aren't, please just say so!

Missing search criteria, inability to see who has declined 'friend' invites, inability to remove people from friends list...there are so many more. Not that I dislike change...as long as it is change for the better. Not sure they are getting it right on here! Anyone else agree?

You ever hear just a snippet of a conversation, and have to stiffle a laugh because of the naughty way it could be interpreted?
Here is what I heard today walking through the gym during a lunch workout. A rather hot little fitness instructor was telling her how to get the best workout on a rowing machine:
"C'mon...you really gotta stroke it hard!"
