I had a chance to chat with the wife today, and it looks like we'll be able to be together again the 1st of April. We can both hardly wait and are counting the minutes. We're both very excited about starting our new life on the east coast, starting new jobs, and meeting new people. We've been testing the waters to see if there are going to be a lot of people we can meet up with and have a little fun (hint to all of you people in Virginia, North Carolina and surrounding areas) but we'd still like some suggestions on what there is to do out there. Not much problem while we were here in Sin City (Las Vegas to all of you who don't know) but the Virginia area will be new to us. I have to say, this whole Affairlook thing has left us with mixed feelings, we'd update our profile again, but it seems to take forever to get changes approved. We've talked about just springing for an upgrade, but the service hasn't shown us much of a reason to yet. I mean, if all it means is unlimited access to view profiles it doesn't really seem worth it As for the chatrooms, they're kinda hard to follow, and we don't get much response there either We're both thinking about maybe just doing things the old fashion way, but we're really not into the bar scene anymore and we just don't know where to go to find people of similar interests. We're moving to a pretty small area just outside of Wytheville, so we don't want to let just everybody know our business. Any suggestions from all of you people who live out there would be appreciated. Well, TTFN X0X0X0 B&T

Been checking the site every day now since we started and are kinda mixed about the responses. We've checked the advice column, read the magazine, tried to use the chatrooms, and viewed a few profiles. We've completed most of our profile, and even added a few new pictures. We just don't know if it's really all worth it yet. We'll keep at it and see what happens.
