Here is the situation:
You have a family, you are kind enough to try to help a couple out by letting them stay with you temporarily to help them get back on their feet.
Unfortunately one of those people overdoses on prescription pain killers and end up going to the Hospital.

What do you do about them?

Not allow them back to your home.
Allow them back as long as they get help (Rehab).
Press charges for drug theft as well as option 1.
Let them back with open arms, all is forgiven.
Contract a hitman to take them out.

I haven't done much when it came to blogs in my time. I've commented and read them but never seem to get around to making them.

So here we go ... Ramblings from the tired (and sometimes warped) mind.

You always here comments as you travel through the miles of life that sometimes just want to make you say Duhhh.

One of the biggest ones that gets me is, "We're all just at heart." Whoever first came up with this must have been looking for a way to explain some pretty dumb actions he/she had done. Don't get me wrong, I love a good time as much as anyone. I guess I am just one to say that I am just plumb crazy when I did some of those things.

For example: Skydiving. It was the most amazing thrill I ever had (yuppers even better than losing my virginity ) when I was asked the first time "Why do you do it?" the only thing I could think of to answer was "Because I was wearing a parachute!" Then I was asked why I didn't want to do Bungee Jumping, my answer to that is, "Mom always said - if everyone else jumped off a bridge would you? I didn't want to give truth to my comments about actually doing it."

Now for something completely different:

If you have ever been to Disneyland then you are familiar with that little ride called "It's a Small World". I grew up going to disneyland on family vacations. By the time I was a I wanted to dig old Walt up and just give him a swift kick in the jewels for coming up with that ride. (By now, if you know the ride, I bet the song is running through your head). That ride has the most cloyingly sweet music and theme for a ride. To this day whenever I think of Disneyland, the first thing that comes to mind is not Space Mountain or any other awesome ride. It's that annoying little ride that I (even as a dad now) still have to go on whenever visiting that park.

DAMN YOU WALT !!!!!!

Alrighty then. Until the next time, may all of your reasons for doing something crazy be good ones. Because after all "We're all just at heart"
