The Big Announcement...
It rained in my soul
and the bittersweet tears
rolled freely down through my heart
until I thought
I could not bear the weight
of the sorrow
for another minute...
and then
you came
and the clouds were swept away
by the gentle breeze of
of your first breath
and the sun rose bright and
brilliant
in the first opening of your eyes
so perfect
so innocent
so pure...
my heart was healed
and the tears of Joy ran freely through my soul
until it overflowed
and you smiled at me
as if you knew
and I saw him there
laughing through your eyes

On July 20th, 11:44am, under the influence of a new moon, Liam Dallas came into the world and into my heart. I will never be the same. May the promise of that new moon bring all the wishes for him to light, and may he know in his heart how sweetly healing his birth was to many, and may he always know how very loved he is. 7lbs 6 oz, 20 & 1/2" long. A beautiful sweet promise of new life.

I make mistakes, I am out of control & at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. ~Marilyn
