Merry Xmas, Happy Yule, and whatever else you might wanna say about today.
The day Ludwig Van Beethoven published Opus 1 1 0. Written in A-flat Major. That shit ain't easy.

Anyway, marveling about ironies and quirks. There are many worth mentioning.
Donna Ross still lives while Michael Jackson i s dead. That's really weird.

Not too may years ago, ( 20 years? ), Gorbachev resigned. He saw what's coming.

A s long ago a s seventeen fifty-eight, a smart fellow named Palitzsch observed i n our heavens a comet predicted b y another smart fellow named Edmund Halley. First time anyone's predicted orbit reality -- regarding comets anyway.

In seventeen seventy-six George Washington crossed the Delaware River. Almost seems like this day should b e Independence Day for America.

This same day i n 1868, almost one hundred years later, President Andrew Jackson pardons all the Confederate veterans from the Civil War.

1941, Japan finally occupies Hong Kong. Five years later, ( exactly ) the Soviet Union's F-1 nuclear reactor comes online.

And not just last year, Tony Warner detonated a bomb in his RV o n Second Avenue i n Nashville Tennessee that killed him instantly... and a good friend o f mine a bit later.

Issac Newton born on this day. Maybe the The Second Coming : )

1924, Rod Serling - born, going forth inventing The Twilight Zone

1946, Jimmy Buffett arrives on Earth allowing for Margaritaville appearing some 30 years later.

George Michael died today, five years ago.

But the most important thing i s the birth o f the that became Jesus.
Not true.

Jesus' birth was between June and July.
Constantine allowed the birth t o b e documented in the Gospels, aligning with pagan rituals known a s Yule.

And Santa Clause isn't real, .

Very few things are.

I can't tell anymore if I am cynical or simply sarcastic : )

Whether cynical, sarcastic, sardonic, ironic, and sometimes simply honest and truthful, it's all good. Truth is truth, no matter how long others choose to keep their heads buried in the sand to avoid it.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I'm just glad you didn't say " I love Margaritaville! "

Cheers your way, hun.

I don't celebrate Christmas. I'm a hedonistic pagan.

... although, I was an alter boy.

THAT'S irony

Chinese food on Xmas eve.

Thank you for reading here.
I stopped for awhile.

I might start-up again with a bit of encouragement.
