 That happens a lot in the dating/hook-up world, vanilla or otherwise. For me last summer, as exactly happened to you. Been ghosted a few times since, which to me is pretty low. At least he said something so you can at least try to move on. I have become somewhat calloused to it, which may or may not be a good thing. Hang in there Cupid, you are not alone.
