Trouble connecting to other members

I've been on the site for a short time but I've made numerous attempts to reach out to various members. Whether it be im or email. Yet I've had ZERO responses, a big ol fat goose egg.

I would love to know if it's my approach, or if it's purely physical. I'm very much aware that I'm not sexy at first glance.... Or second. I also know that I'm not a "good looking" man; though I don't think I'm bad looking. Are this many women, the dozen or so I've broached, find me so unattractive or just not their type physically that they aren't even interested in responding to an email? That'll knock a fool down a few notches.

I can't see my approach as a problem. At least not for ALL of them. My confidence in "picking up" women doesn't lie in my physical prowess but lies with my ability to catch their attention with my words, and when in person I bank on my lack of looks losing its strength by relying on my natural charisma, warmth and sense humor to win her over. That's not ego mind you, but an awareness of my strengths and weaknesses.

I don't know, I just felt like my messages were good ice breakers they weren't overly forward. Most lacked any mention of sex. Zero included a dick pic. And they all made an effort to show I took the time to read their bios. I don't want to give up so soon but damn if it ain't disheartening.
