An interesting point about chat rooms... Chat rooms are funny things. A person or a group of people go out and try to make a place where they can gather and have fun. Some of them want more people to come in so that they can have even more fun. Heck, a successful room on this site can have 20 or more in it at a time. Now here's the downside. And I've seen this a few times today while looking at rooms.... Some rooms actually discriminate against some of the very people who it the most. "Positive people only" "No negative Nancys" I'll be the first to admit that I get depressed on occasion. Most people do. It's human. But people on the internet tend to want to escape from their "reality". They deny that they're human. But if they deny that they're human, then they have to deny that others are too. And humans have weaknesses. There may not be a room for me on this site. Goodness knows I've been asked to leave several. Because I dared to be around people who didn't want anything to do with someone like me. Sound like anything or anyone we know here America? The eyes are the windows to the soul. I have no soul. My eyes are hidden. |
