Oh My God

Well maybe it's not my God after all.

The Church of England warns "You better get with the Paris Accord" or they will divest in you. Being Catholic myself I'll toss my church in the mix as it hold very close in opinion and attitude.

So they preach to us in golden garb warning the world. I can only assume they have such investments that their movement would make a difference. far from it but if trying to look through God's eyes his (spokesperson) makes such a statement as I said dressed in gold holding their vast wealth over others head. I guess that's okay if there's no need out there but although things have improved there's still many in need of help. It seems to be getting harder to tell the difference between for profit companies and the church anymore.

They make it harder and harder to drop hard earned money in the basket or hat they pass around insinuating it's our duty. A said though but there it is.

No matter what church you belong to, I've always believed a church's mission is to offer us guidance, not lead us or push us like a flock of sheep....… Seems like they're all switching over..... Sadly, more and ore people from both sides are becoming sheeple....braindead fools, who have given up their freedom to think for themselves! I assure you, that will never happen to me!

Do people pollute too much? HELL YES, we do!! People are hypocrites....they preach and preach about climate change then hold out their hand for $$$$$ then hop on their huge jet plane, and fly off to get more money from their flocks of sheeple. We live in a "throw away" society. Huge mountains are being built all over the country....huge mountains of garbage. The American farmers are being put out of business by huge corporations then other huge corporations are buying up the farms, and building mountains of trash hauled from cities 300 or more miles away by tens of thousands of huge trucks, trains, ships, etc....

We've been brainwashed to live like the Rockefellers, the Kennedys, etc... We hop on HUGE cruise ships, or jet off to luxury resorts. We breed like rabbits, increasing the population to the point their isn't enough food to feed all the people. We pollute the water...… We have to have 2nd homes, 3rd homes.... We waste so much....

There will come a time in the not so distant future when governments will crumble, and only the strong will survive....the strong will be the people who can survive without grocery stores supplying the food. There will be no big cities, no corporations, no factories, no hospitals......it'll be like the 1300s with nomadic gangs preying on what people are left. There'll be dead zones, areas that have been so polluted, or contaminated with nuclear waste, no one can survive there. Over time, the earth will recover, but it'll take 1000s of years, and people will repeat the same mistakes......

When we look at the history of the church and state (000's of years), it was in part this type of integration that made the USA exceptional by separating the two when it came to policy. The current pope vehemently rejects such separation and appears to be no less a socialist that would roll back history. He tends to see the socialist mantra as another hand out - this time and again at the hand of government by which he hopes to enrich the church.

I am with Trapper on this. As the mantra says, history repeats itself. I am all for stuffing my mattress and leaving the church out of all of it
