Why are you still single?

Here's a question I mostly get when talking to females... "Why have you been single or have never been with a girl before?" I believe its for a few reasons.

#1) I've always believed that in order to be with someone you'd have to take care of yourself first and I mean financially wise. So if i can't even take care of myself I'm not in a position to have a girlfriend... well at least not yet but i wouldn't mind a fwb lol

#2) I've had too much of a high standard my whole life. I always thought I'd meet a pretty blonde girl with blue eyes.. someone like Hayden Panettiere or Chalize Theron

#3) I lived a life of being a "good boy" and it's gotten me no where in my sex life (if you count masturbation sessions then that's a different story lmao). Even since my<b> senior </font></b>yr in high school my mindset was to finish school and please my mom with good grades. I guess you could say i was a bit of a nerd, I didn't hang out with the "popular" either.

#4) I'm pretty much shy when it comes to females. I've always been a shy when growing up. I've had a few female friends but I guess I'm just good at getting stuck in the friend zone lol.

#5) I have helicopter parents. They ask the 21 questions and the who, what, where, when and whys. Gets annoying at times.

#6) I've been self cautious. Ever since the education system started teaching me about all these different types of diseases one could get I just tried to stay away from it. They made it seem as if sex was a really bad thing

#7) I'm not much of a conversationalist either, lets just leave it at that.... see what i mean? lmao

#8 ) My family is religious but i wouldn't say it was one of the major reasons but still...

You may be thinking excuses, excuses, excuses. Well these are just from my experience and I'm being honest. Don't get me wrong, I probably have had a few chances to be with a girl but turned them down. I just wasn't ready to be a teenage daddy lol. Heck, I was even kissed by 'Miss Venezuela' on the lips at one point. She said she liked me but I didn't know much about her even her name and I had just met her that day through family friends. All i knew is that she participated in beauty pageants. I honestly thought she was going a little too fast.

Therefore I believe I'm still single / a late bloomer by.... choice. I don't know what else it would be, call it what you will but there's my explanation.for the question that most females don't find it to be true.
