Places I’ll Remember

It’s normally a comfortable setting

At least it’s always been a bed but for the night in the hot tub

But maybe it’s a secret desire

Maybe we all just want to know what it’s like to get laid

In the back of a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

At the top of a mountain of a hill it took forever to reach

The night closed in on us

Only the light from the dashboard clock allowed me to see you looking at me

But I stared back at you just the same

Knowing you were smiling at me

Knowing you were thinking how much you love me

Knowing you will miss me when we part ways until we meet again

 There are places I remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them allBut of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
