Nuns and Sluts...

Nuns and Sluts... Like many men on here I am looking for a little something I am not getting at home. So first lets break that down. It does not mean not getting "any". Yes we do do it, but it is, at least from my point of view- here where I piss off the therapists living vicariously through us-not what it should be. When I was a young adult I used to see older couples- this meant 40-60 or 70 who could not keep their hands off each other. Not like sex starved teenagers, but gentle caresses, holding hands, a sparkling smile when their partner entered the room. These are the little gestures I had hope to be sharing with my wife up until the day we die. I know things like that are part of my very nature. In the Parlance- I am very demonstrative and affectionate. Well apparently not everyone is built that way. After more than 20 years of marriage I just slammed the brakes on. As much as it hurt and sometimes that pain was physical- like a withdrawal. It is now 8 months later and still she hasn't mentioned it; other than to suspect I might be "getting it" somewhere else. It took 8 months for her to vaguely suggest that we "do it" before she was leaving on a trip. Oh That lovely "Obligatory Sex" done with all the passion of- taking out the trash. I was never quite sure if I was to blame. But several affairs later and I know its not me. Latin and Scandinavian woman love me. They show real passion in their lovemaking, desire and creativity. Looking at it from a cultural prospective one South American and one south east Asia, both historically Hispanic; both sides of the sword can be seen. The South American culture objectifies woman turning them into sultry sex toys with surgery, where sexy-ness is the goal for women, mature and young adult. The other culture wants them to deny their sexuality almost completely. There is an almost servant like mentality in everything (except something sexual in nature). My wife ( S E Asian) buries her own sexuality saying she doesn't want to be sultry. I can understand that and truly I don't want her to be slutty, sultry maybe, sexy definitely but not slutty. But I think her definition of "slutty" is a Nun who shows her ankles in public. I realize this is painting with a broad stroke, every society has it's nuns and its sluts. And that is not to say if you're not a nun you are therefore.... Just sayin' my personal experience. Did you ever want to take two people and put them into a genetic "blender"? |
