Lame excuses explored and exploded I can honestly say by now that I will NEVER initiate contact with any profile on here Affairlook that doesn't have at least one pic on it already. Does this make me shallow? I hope not, but I don't really think so, either. I have had the "profile pic/no pic" debate with many people on this site time and again, and all of the reasons people give for not having a pic on their profile sound like really lame excuses and or cop-outs to me. Here are some of those excuses I have heard, and my response to each one: "I was getting too much mail when my profile had a pic on it" - Oh, really? Poor you! Deleting some mail (Such as messages without pics attached, let's say.) from your inbox without reading it first and/or setting up your mail filter preferences must be too much work for you. I guess you somehow get just mail from the people you are potentially seeking now that nobody can get a clue about what you may look like and/or have to offer physically. "I would rather get mail from those who find what I wrote on my profile interesting, rather than from those who just care about what I look like." - So I guess for you it's either one or the other; a person cannot be attracted both physically and intellectually to somebody. If "Elephant Man" Merrick were alive today and also had a pic-less profile here on Affairlook, he could use this very same rationale. Maybe you'd even want to meet him and/or sex him yourself just from the seductive wording of his profile, too. "There's no point in having pics on profiles since so many people have fake ones or old ones of themselves on their profiles, so you can't ever really be sure of who is who anyway." - Oh, really? How quickly did it take for you to determine that the vast majority of people on Affairlook actually do this? This is about the most egregious example of a cop-out I've heard yet, but I have heard it more than once. Are you going to say the same thing about video introductions now too? |

You are a well spoken man! I am on the fence on this one. I understand why in certain areas you would not place a facial picture but there is no reason not to post a body part. This is a sexual site and "mind" attraction plays little into it (for the most part)

Hi Sexy! I used to have a face pic on my profile, but had to take it down. I wrote about it Trust issues, inconsistencies, and random thoughts and I do have them in my albums. So, right now my boobs are speaking for me. They don't always bring me the kind of attention I want... but I just deal with it! Nice post! Good to see something from you... it's been a while... been to Wegman's lately? i was under a different name b4 this one and didn't have a pic on at all but always sent when asked, but then thought why don't i just do it,its only my boobs, my face pic on my profile now as well as my boobs, but it got boring after awhile when all the guys on instant messag kept asking for a face pic so thought it be easier just to leave it on my profile, then it can get rid of some of the guys that think I'm not there type un stead of them blanking ya when u sent one, has happened a few times. but do agree with ya all my messages get filtered out if they anit got a face pic or a decent profile as getting bored of men emailing me with out a pic or not even sending me one by email, now i just think who cares if i saw someone i knew on here they have 2 say they where on here 2. like if someone saw u from work on here what r they going 2 say really......and how would they know it was u by a ass pic or something  love it

I've been on too many blind dates and will never go out with someone without knowing what they look like. It's too easy to take pictures these days anyway. There is no reason to not know what the other person looks like. I can understand that some people may have privacy issues and not having a profile pic is perfectly fine. But before you meet someone, you should have an idea of what they look like.

I will not even bother viewing profiles w/o pics, usually. I have pics of me on mine, and I send a face pic if I get an email that piques my interest. Not that I think I'm ugly or want to hide my face. The total and complete truth is....I have a couples profile and my mug is plastered all over that one. Some people (um, hum) don't want a connection to be made between the 2 profiles. It would have been much smarter of him then not to use some of the body pics that I have posted here on the other profile too. But I'm not going to belabor the point. Anyhow, yeah. Those "ask me for a pic" profiles get no love form me, to sound young and hip. And I am pretty much neither, lol. PS: As I said, I wanted to read you blogs. They are as humorous as I would have expected. " If you love me then thank you, if you hate me then FUCK YOU"

I THINK FOR A SITE LIKE THIS,YOU SHOULD HAVE FUN TAKING PICTURES YOU NORMALLY WOULDNT TAKE OR POST IN SAY A "FAMILY ALBUM"..LOL..HAVE FUN WITH A CAMERA...I LIKE TO HANG OUT WITH FRIENDS OR A GUY AND HAVE FUN WITH IT..I CANT POST MY ENTIRE FACE DUE TO BEING A MOM AND WAS NERVIOUS ABOUT PEOPLE LIVING CLOSE WOULD KNOW ME.I LIKE TO KEEP MY SEX LIFE PRIVATE..I DONT MEET ANY GUYS FROM HERE WITHOUT EXCHANGING PICS AND TRYIN TO GET TO KNOW THEM AND EVEN SEE IF WE ARE COMPATIBLE..I MET SOME WORTHY OF MEETING AGAIN AND A SLIGHT FEW THAT TOTALLY EMBELLISHED THEIR PROFILES AND PICTURES....I TRY TO ALSO KEEP CHANGING MY PICS ON MY PROFILE TO KEEP IT INTERESTING..I AM MORE INTRIGUED WITH BODY PARTS THEN A HOT FACE{ALTHOUGH IT HELPS !}LOL...WRITE GOOD PROFILES AND HAVE A FEW GOOD PICS AND YOU WILL GET MORE OF A CHOICE OF INVITES AND MEET COOL PEOPLE..JUST BE HONEST AND DONT SAY YOUR PAMELA ANDERSON OR JESSICA ALBA IF YOU LOOK MORE LIKE ROASANNE BARR !!!
