 I don't think there's a set "time period". It's just whenever both of you feel comfortable enough. Unless you're both all for the excitement of meeting immediately... but then again that still falls into your (theoretical) "comfort range".

I've met somebody the day after meeting on this site. I've met somebody years after. Time, money, circumstances.
