I really liked Ted Cruz....for a while

Yes, I did. But, as time went on and his need to ever be in the spotlight being contrarian about almost anything, my enthusiasm diminished.

Without being strident, I can see an almost "Joe Mccarthy" method to his media addiction to attention.

I am not so comfortable with the idea of someone so contrarian actually being President. I still cringe at the vast damage disgraced Richard Nixon did to America.
Prolonging the failed VietNam war for political gains, the many more maimed and mentally damaged Patriots, the spy crew, watergate, the doomed ongoing War on Drugs and the reclassification of marijuana as a dangerous addictive Drug.

I really liked Ted Cruz...for a while. His best pitch is abolish the ruined IRS and replace it with a 15% flat tax on ANYTHING bought. An idea advanced by ignored Presidential Candidate Forbes during his 3 failed attempts to help Americans.
