NFL Picks – Conference Championship Games

NFL Picks – Conference Championship Games Weather should not be a factor in either game, and both games feature high producing QBs and strong offenses. NFC Championship: Green Bay (12-6) at Atlanta (12-5) Rematch of week 8 game – the Pack won in Atlanta 33-32. The Packers have some injuries going into this game some are game time decisions. There was also a flu bug which Rogers, Nelson and Crosby say they caught. Other teams have played sick so there are some aspects of this game still up in the air. There are 2 other receivers who are questionable too. I think this will be a game where the best defense will prevail. If Nelson is out my pick is . . . Falcons. AFC Championship: Pittsburgh (13-5) at New England (15-2) Rematch of week 7 game – the patsies won in Foxboro 27-16. Big Ben didn’t play in that game so expect a different outcome. Both teams have potent offences and decent defenses. This should be a tough game for both teams. I would prefer that the Steelers win since I dislike cheaters. Of course the patsies had to cheat for this game to – a fire alarm was pulled by “someone” at the hotel where the Steelers were staying last night. My choice is . . . to give positive vibes to the Steelers When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. |

I was 6 of 10 for the playoffs but went against the flow on a couple games. I agree the Falcons are more talented and Quinn has been to the SB. But betting against the patsies is dangerous. These games SUCKED so disappointing but we all knew the Patriots were going to go, not that I care for them because I don't. I was routing for the Packers and although I don't like the Steelers either I would of enjoyed seeing them beat the Patriots..lol..I hope next years games are better than these were!!! Green Bay proved last week they know how to win. G. B. by 7. Big Ben makes no difference. Pitt never scored a T.D. last week. Pat's score plenty. N.E. by 21. BUT,,, I went 1-3 last week, so what do I know. I disagree re Ben he still does move the ball and IIRC he was semi-injured last week. We shall see what happens soon. Hmm I already commented on a sexy Patriots blogger that I forsee a Patriots/Packers Superbowl but would love to be wrong and hope the thugs from Pittsburgh make bitch Brady cry like he was against the Texans.  Just learned today that falcoons have the #1 offense in the NFL. Didn't hear bout that flu epidemic but if I had to pick this year's team of destiny, I'd say GB  Hopefully they'll be great games.When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.
