I Adore You...

I adore you, you know.
This isn't by some whim
or notion, or thought.
This isn't something I just decided
was true.

Whenever I write down your name
in a note,
or see it on an envelope,
or written at the bottom of the page by you...
my eyes always come back to it---
over and over again.

Just your name has that effect upon me.

It brings warmth and an overflowing
to my heart and mind.
It amazes me
that you care and believe
in me.

I pause when I pass by somewhere
you've been before...
as if by magic,
part of you still exists there.
I've looked at places where you stood,
or where you sat...
and can still feel your presence.

It gives me pleasure to bring
and share your morning coffee.
I feel warm inside whenever I bring you flowers.
And as beautiful as they are,
they pale in comparison.

I catch myself looking
at you while you talk.
Your eyes... your hair...
lips, the color of your cheeks...
your nose...
and I hear myself reaffirm
my total and complete love
for you.

I take tremendous pride
at the mention of your name by others.
I know that without you
my life would be less than whole.
And the look in my eyes
whenever I see you...
is like viewing the most rare of jewels,
or having possession
of all masterpieces
ever painted.

It's your spirit of life...
your neverending passion
the confidence you show...
that turns heads,
and makes other's smile.

I adore your playfulness...
and the times of serious thought.
My heart quickens
when I catch you looking my way...
and smile.
And you take my breathe away
with only a touch.

All these things,
and so many more
convinces me,
without a shadow of doubt,
without any hesitation,
that my life is now full...
because you have chosen to be with me...
and I adore
you.

 This is a wonderful post my special friend! The thought that came to my mind after reading this was that there are many couples out there who feel this way about one another, but for whatever reason just cannot express it. And then I thought immediately about young love.....you know....the kind when you would just be happy to sit on the same chair as he had. Or you got a letter in the mail.....and sat in awe because he had held it in his hands.

And then it made me want that kind of love again. To feel that way about my love. I want that for you too. And we are blessed, aren't we? 143.....always.

 Sara...I have a confession to make. I can write it down the way I want to say it... and I've been lucky enough a few times to actually say pretty much what I've written; but in reality, my voice falters, thoughts get confused, and what I really want to say inside me, comes out entirely different at times! It wasn't due to testosterone, it was fear she might not feel the same or understand. But in those moments my thoughts were clear enough for her to understand... wow, it was perfect. 143, me

And one of them is because of what you said, "the special inspiration." That inspiration in reality is a combination of several people from here and in my real world, also. "You" are a part of it. Yes, this is about all lover's who don't or can't express what they really want to say. We've both been lucky enough to experience this, in our lives. I hope this might spark others to try and experience it, or reclaim it. I know you can reclaim it!
