Knights, and Castles... (and hugs!)

Knights, and Castles... (and hugs!) This Sunday, is "National Hug Day." No... Really... it is!!! What a perfect time to show someone a little "tlc." I know I'll celebrate it in my usual daily fashion. I give hugs all year long, every day... so this won't be anything new for me. How about you? Try it. Get up off your butt, and don't be shy... and give a hug. It will make you feel fantastic!!! Especially when you see the smile you created, also. On Knights and Castles... I wish I could give you your castle in the air. The place where you feel safe... and warm. I wish I could be your Knight. But alas, I'm just a man from humble beginnings. Never strong enough to slay dragons, and overcome evil sorcerers. I don't own a white , nor have a servant in my care. No swords fit my hands anymore. I don't claim to fight the true and valiant fight. Even windmills are sometimes stronger than me. But I try. I bring to you my honest and open heart. I will give you harmony... for your spirit. I will be thoughtful of your joy. I will fend off the winter's cold with the warmth of my soul... and fetch you refreshments to cool your forehead in summer. I'll do whatever... for my lady; to make you feel safe and warm... as you would be, in our castle in the air. © copyright unlistedone 2007  |

You have ridden in on that white horse and been my knight in shining armour more than once my friend. And just knowing that you are "there" for me is often enough to bring a smile to my face, and warm my heart. Never doubt that what you do for others......that special hug....the words you share here.....may mean the world to someone else. 143 always  PS. I hugged alot of folks yesterday....and didn't even know it was National Hug Day! Wish I could have hugged you in real life my special friend.

sometimes a guy in sweat pants and riding in ordinary cards is really a knight in disguise... it's what is in the heart that reveals the knight... and your heart, my friend, has shown the knight in you... Sir Unlisted! 143... Not all who wander are lost.

Becky... Yes, they do! Me, a Knight? Of that, I'm not so sure. And as for being tarnished around the edges... definitely! Polly... (((((((((((HUG))))))))))) backatcha, my lady! me ~ ~ ~ Time... Sometimes the castles we are looking for or the ones we think we have, are just figments of our imagination. Sometimes they are absolutely real!!!! Still other times, we have to work a little to keep our castles "tidy." Cleaning a castle can be very trying. But with help of another, it goes a lot faster... and is a lot more fun! Keep the fun in it. If for no one else but you, if need be! hug, me
