What to do, what to do... "Flume" or "Civil Twilight" What a dilemma I have. What to do, what to do... "Flume" or "Civil Twilight" What a dilemma I have. On the one hand I could go see one of my fav groups of the 2000s "Civil Twilight" or I could go see "Flume" What is the problem some might ask... Well... in 2011, I went to go see a movie called "I am number four." At the end of the movie, just before the credits, they played "Letters from the sky", a song that hooked me to this group. "One of these days the sky's gonna break And everything will escape, and I'll know One of these days the<b> mountains </font></b>are gonna fall Into the sea, and they'll know That you and I were made for this I was made to taste your kiss..." -- Civil Twilight "Letters from the sky" So, in 2012, they appeared in concert in Shreveport, Louisiana. I was there... hmmm.. Then in 2013, they came to EdgeFest. I was there... hmmm... I've not seen the same band more than two times in my life... Now, I've seen some incredible bands twice... so, I don't know if I want to pop my cherry or lose my virginity with this band, and see them a third time... Most of you have never heard of them. They will be in town Friday night. One of you that I was writing to, would recognize them, because they are from your native South Africa, still... my fav. songs are the one mentioned above and "Human"... "It's only love, it's only pain It's only fear that runs through my veins It's all the things you can't explain That make us human..." -- Civil Twilight "Human" The other band "Flume" has released a song with one of my fav female singers "Tove Lo" called "Say It", but, I doubt that she will be there to sing that song... She also sings with Coldplay on their latest album. "Feeling the song, party done Shadows walking home Walking with our game on You are my kind, classic mind And you look so fine..." -- Flume "Say it" feat. Tove Lo And, they have another song featuring "Kai", but, I doubt that Kai will be there to sing her song. ” Why do I make you want to stay Hate sleeping on my own, missing the way you taste..." -- Flume "Never be like you" feat. Kai They will be in town on Saturday night... Small venue in Deep Ellum. I may just go see the Rangers, and not worry about it... Their last three games of the season, before the post-season are being held this weekend... So... my little pretties... what say you... If you really can't decide in which band to see, go to the baseball game. You can yell and curse if that's your norm and raise a few.

If you really can't decide in which band to see, go to the baseball game. You can yell and curse if that's your norm and raise a few. Thanks for your visit and comments. I may go do all 3. I can see Civil Twilight tonight, Flume on Saturday and the rangers on Sunday... I might just go all spontaneous, using my unpredictable nature and let my luv of music drive me this weekend... I vote for doing all three, especially the bands. While no two baseball games are identical, they are similar enough to skip a few to go to an occasional concert when a lesser known band comes to town. I also vote for pop your cherry and see the band for a third time, life's too short to not push your personal limits sometimes. What ever you decide, enjoy your weekend.

I was thinking the same thing... However, earlier today, work gave me an opportunity to stay home and implement a fix... which we are in the process of doing... so... I can watch the baseball game on tv, but am tied to the pc to ensure that this sw change goes in... tomorrow will be another day... and, I may be able to do 2 out of 3... have a great weekend yourself!
