Hi texasboobies... I hear you... I also watched 'Galaxy Quest' this weekend... You just luved all the movies he was in... I know I did... I hated him in Die Hard... but, in a good way... Now, with David Bowie... that's much deeper for me, because of his music and his movies... One of my fav David Bowie songs of all time is: 'This is not America'... It is also in the soundtrack of two movies that I liked: 'The falcon and the snowman' & 'Training Day'... So, now when I watch those movies, I will think of him... Also, I luved 'Jennifer Conelly' in 'the labyrinth' movie, that he starred in... wonderful movie... so we can both be sad this week... it's ok... it will make us appreciate the things that are left... thanks for your comments!!! Bowie was one of my favorites besides the Beatles. He will always be with us! hugssssssss V thanks for your comments. While I didn't like all of his music, I did like him... I enjoyed his movies and his music. And, the Beatles have always been a personal fav of mine. But, then, so has Queen and Ambrosia and the eagles and the pretenders and Imogen Heap and Frou Frou and Zero 7... and Sting and the chipmunks (no, not the chipmunks... just kidding on that one)... Every year I keep adding to the list... Sometimes, I add musicians for their ability to create music, written and sung... Sometimes, I add musicians for their ability to sing, not necessarily to create, but to sing... And, I don't use the word 'just' in front, because it would be a disservice to their talents... thanks again, for your visit... I hadn't intended on posting a tribute, as many had posted their ideas all over the place... but, one of the bloggers that I read and that reads me, suggested that I put some sad songs out as she was depressed... so, since, I usually honor requests that are within my power to perform, I did... but, as you can see, the way I write is with the impact that I am affected... women and music... and, also movies...
