Snake Saturday
Ahh My Lads and Lassies today, even though it isn't the 17th, is the day we celebrate St. Patrick's Day here. We have an even called Snake Saturday where everyone dons their finest greenery and does their best Irish Brogue impressions and have a parade and eat corned beef and cabbage and consume massive quantities of Guinness and Irish whiskey. Myself, I'll take it easy on the Guinness, as much as I love it, I like driving and not having a hangover better. It all starts with a parade at 11 and from there all kinds of booths and fake Irish stuff. Should be a lot of fun. I look forward to it. Last year was my first one and definitely not my last. Also tonight I was told of a "surprise" birthday party for one of my co workers. That should be good too. Last night I went to a friends place for dinner. WOW, I love it when the weather gets better, seems like more to do. And I have hibernated too much this winter. Looking forward to getting a life again.
Now if I could just find a Lady to enjoy this with...LOL.

 We have an Irish festival here called Zeltik, wasn't able to go there this year, always good fun... all kinds of celtic bands playing, this year some dancers too
