What's good for the goose

How important is shaving? I have talked to quite a few men and women here and it seems men are more likely to ask if women are shaved, trimmed or natural.

I have to say for me, I prefer being with someone who is shaved or at least trimmed, whether man or woman. If you want me to take the time to "clean up" then you should have the same consideration.

I was surprised when speaking with a man I was seeing. We had met in a store and talked for a month or more. He had commented that he liked a woman who was shaved or waxed and smooth. I told him that I keep myself bare and asked him if he did the same.

The man actually laughed and said "Hell no, I'm not taking a razor anywhere near my balls or cock. What if I get cut?"

I suggested letting me shave him. Letting him know I would be very careful and gentle. He refused and said it wouldn't happen. My question to him was, how can you expect your partner to do something for you if you are unwilling to do the same for her?

Has anyone else run into this? How do you feel about it?

I believe whats good for the goose, is good for the gander...

Agree? or Not?

I agree what is good for one should be good for both. At one time I did shave, but I really like the natural look, I would shave for my gal because she liked it. Now there is no gal, and play mates are hard to come by.

Anything worth doing is worth doing right

I'm not a fan of the shaved look.... it just feels too prepubescent. Neatly trimmed is how I prefer myself and my playmates!

But boy, do I miss a former playmate who used to LOVE to shave me and he always did SUCH a good job at it! The way I look at it is if my playmate wants a shaved gal, he's going to have to do it himself! And vice versa!

What is good for the goose is sweet and sour sauce with a pinch of honey.

Anyway I always am shaved clean but many times the ladies want to remain hairy because they feel it is itchy after the shave or when the bristles starts to grow. And with the hair that traps urine, the smell of urine can be quite pungent.

We both seem to have our unique problems.

Perhaps you should meet me or I, u.

I shave myself, not sure I'd let anyone else shave me down there.

I don't think most people, especially men (unfortunately) really even think about sex as a general topic, except as an emergency friday afternoon topic, and then its a rush to put the fire out and they try to do it as quickly as possible and can't figure out why they wake up monday morning with wet ash on their faces.
There are practical reasons for men to shave (trim) around their shafts; it helps when their partners give them head. Your goose and gander trope is appropriate, I think. Men often claim that when they go down on their women friends they get hairs stuck between their teeth—how can they not think the opposite would also be true? But it is worse, as there is a real problem of a mans hair getting caught in a woman s fist as she is gripping the shaft with normal tugging up and down during the course of a normal bj, lube or no lube. A partner can be careful and not pull the hairs, but if you take the time to trim they can be wilder and you can both reap the rewards, I should think.
A guy who says he doesn’t trust you with a razor near his balls hasn't been acting as trustworthy as he should, in my opinion.

oh, extra credit—there is a scene in a mediocre film called Phenomenon where Kyra Sedgwick shaves John Travolta which, for my money, is worth the price of admission. It never gets mentioned in top ten 'sex scenes' because people have no idea what 'sex' means, or 'top' for that matter (as far as i'm concerned), but then, i'm a horse of a different color.

Smoke em if you've got em.

I prefer trimmed to shaved bare. I keep myself trimmed short and I shave my balls. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

You should what your partner prefers it will work better for you in the long run. I find that I like it accessible first then depends sometimes trimmed or bare even full Chewbacca

i just think all is so much cleaner with a nice trim and shave. especially the perineum area. Hair there just gets in the way of keeping everything clean and tidy.. Love the smooth feel after a fresh shave. I keep a strip trimmed close, but the rest nice and bare. Girls (and guys) just need to know how to shave right to keep away from those "bumps" Not very sexy..

I have shaved for years and love it. It started as trimming and has gotten much smoother and cleaner over the years.
As sexual as it is and makes me feel, it has also become part of my getting ready for the day routine.
When I have a date or a big day of any kind I love the overall clean feel of cleans shaven face, clean shaven back of my neck for a fresh hair cut look between hair cuts and of course shaving and trimming my balls and cock.
Safe to say if you see me wearing a suit I am smooth as a babies behind....
