It does matter. I don't know how you might have missed that. And this is not only about politics, it's about morality. You can be jaded if you want to and pretend that it doesn't matter, but it matters to the people locked in concentration camps at our southern border. They came here fleeing violence and corruption in their own countries and asking for asylum. Does that matter to YOU? It matters to Jewish and Muslim Americans when they're threatened and even murdered by rabid Trump supporters. Does THAT matter to you? It matters to black Americans when their vote is jeopardized by voter suppression laws that make it harder for them to vote. But I'm correct in assuming that doesn't matter to you, right? Would it have mattered to you if you'd been hauled off to Nazi death camp in Germany in the early forties and lost your entire family to execution and starvation?
