Screwed Again and Not in a Good Way

Apparently the errant and fickle<b> gods </font></b>who rule this site have improved things and in doing so broken them again, at least on my laptop where there is a large empty white rectangle in the middle of the page that cannot be taken off and will not load no matter how long I wait.

What is this drive computer types have to constantly repair things that aren't broken?

Oh well, I can work around it, but it is annoying to have to.

It's as if they try to sell us on New Coke every couple of weeks when everyone wants Classic or Diet.

Since it is a big white rectangle I don't have any idea what the message is since it won't load and simply blinks and does nothing.

I hope I didn't win the lottery and can't read the message.
