Unavailable more attractive?

I have been on this site for almost 9 years now. The first few years I just got used to the openness that is on here and things that I never even heard or dreamed of going on. Then the next 5 years I enjoyed meeting new men and having a physical relationship with them having no bonds. Now the last 2 years I have made it plain to anyone I meet that I am looking more for a long term relationship... a one on one type thing.

Now I think I have found it with a great gentleman. He treats me like a queen, so far. But here is my problem. Two of the men that I was seeing have stepped up to the plate and said they wanted more from me. One is even saying that he is sick over the thought of another man touching me. So my question is, why wasn't this said to me when we were together? Is it that now that I am unavailable I am more attractive to them?

 It could be they didn't say anything then because you may have given them the impression it was a NSA type of deal, and fear of losing that (and you) kept them from expressing their desire for more from you. As for the one that says it make him sick to think of someone else touching you, I would be wary. That sounds way too obsessive.

 Yes....one never knows what they have until they lose it!! You have now possibly became unattainable to these other men...therefore more attractive.
