For The Bloggers This question goes out to all my fellow bloggers out there, but first I want to give you a little<b> background </font></b>on how this came about first. Things have been quite peaceful in my little corner of blogland since I burned the bridge one of the site's trolls was living under by blocking him from my blog. You can probably guess who I am speaking of. It's been rather nice. You may already know my blog has little to do with sex because, well, do I really have to say it? Sadly, yesterday's post about being on Vacation attracted the attention of another troll. The "you know this is a sex site" variety. I did shit him down fairly effectively but not before another blogger jumped in to back me up ( Thanks for that by the way! ) Which kinda got me thinking. I started wondering, and here is where the aforementioned question comes in, Do any of you bloggers (guys feels such a one-sided term to use here) revisit posts you've commented on to see if the poster responded? And if so how long do you wait? Me, I usually check back the next day to see what happened. If there isn't a response I may give it a couple more days before I move on. Sometimes I just want to know if the joke I was trying to make had it's intended effect. Speak the Truth, or make your peace some other way Follow CaptainDilfCT Superhero or pirate? Hi, apologies for not commenting more often but my time has been so short on this site- If I respond to someone's blog post and I think that maybe I might get more information by other comments, I might set a "watch this blog post" and then check on that regularly (which for me now is next to impossible but in the days where I checked on the site 2-5 times a day for messages and blog posts, and writing posts, well that was another way to stay on the site a bit longer). I check my "where I'm quoted" (tho I have not done that today and may not as I am just about to go back to either writing or reading for the convention I am going to in a few weeks). i just normally use "where i am quoted"...but if there were some problem in the post, i probably go back about a week, to see if it's not escalating...

I check my "where I'm quoted" list but I don't usually go back to see if my comment has been replied to if it's not listed there. You should have offered to introduce bottom-troll to top-troll yesterday!

I check my blog posts the day after -just checking ya know. I also always respond to comments even if it's just to say "thanks" (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group
