A Proper Insult

Been thinking about a particularly popular insult people use.

Douchebag.

It seems kinda wrong to me. I mean, what is a douchebag? Is it a yellow plastic bag filled with douche applicators? I'm having a hard time calling up that image in my head when I'm looking at someone deserving of being called that.

If you've ever seen a douche, you would know it comes in a clear plastic bottle. Don't judge me. I have a mom, a sister, and an ex-wife. I've stepped on the damned things heading for the bathroom at two o'clock in the morning. Maybe that's a more appropriate term to call someone. A douchebottle. Let's see if sounds okay to say. Say it out loud a couple times.

Douchebottle. Douche. Bottle. DOUCHEBOTTLE.

Sounds good to me! What do you guys think? Should we try using it in a sentence? Just to make sure?

 the one they've used for quite a while on the blogs, the ones here, is fucktard...sometimes with extra adjectives, depending on how bad, how much, or possibly gender

 I also like it! Another euphemism I heard this week for what I swear is the first time is 'banana hammock', courtesy of Stephen Colbert. I don't know how I missed hearing this before but I laughed till I nearly pissed myself.
