Dude, Where's My Car? or, if you prefer, we can call this post "What was I thinking?" So I am sitting here in my living room, drinking tea (burning my tongue) and watching the 2011 remake of Footloose. Not a bad movie, but most movies that are remakes don't really live up to the original. Dredd was an exception in my mind. Same character, same town name and backstory, but a completely different story. Anyway, I keep laughing at the part where they are racing school buses. At the end, after the three jump off the one that is on fire and it crashes into another bus, that happens to be flipped on its side. The one who cant dance says "The wheels on the bus go boom boom boom!" and I start to chuckle. I was going somewhere with this post, but for the life of me, I can't remember what the heck I wanted to write about. The post on my blog goes boom boom BOOM!! ROFL please tell me you guys didn't sing that! Last week was rough. Drank a bottle of wine one night, or at least most of it. It is sitting there next to the OTHER bottle of wine I drank this week. My parents are pissing me off. I need to get my out of here. I also had a crazy fall at work. Picture those Caution! Wet Floor signs you see where the stick figure has both legs flying out in front of em. Or those movies where someone slips and both legs go flying up in the air. That was me. If anyone had seen it, it probably would have been comical. I got a bruise on my right hip and a sprained wrist. Typing this shit hurts like hell. I know, I know... THEN STOP TYPING!! NO I got something I wanna say, dammit!! um..... Been quiet otherwise. Haven't really heard from anyone this week. Kinda feeling really lonely. Even my ex seems to have left me alone for the most part. Which is good, because I am far too nice to tell her to grow up and deal with her problems. I got enough of my own. If she wanted me to help her with all this crap, she shouldn't have left me. but I don't wanna talk about that. Let's find something more amusing. Saw a car stuck on a snowbank today. Damn snow had to be piled up at least eight feet. I'm six feet myself and I KNOW it was taller than me. The road was completely dry, so it's not like he hit a patch of black ice and lost control. Had to be speeding. The car was practically vertical. Front end was smashed pretty bad. I ran over the license plate he lost. Dude was still sitting in his car. He wasn't hurt, but was pretty damn embarrassed. I guess that's all I got....My brain is fried. Need to find a way to get some sleep. dredd was a good movie. i liked each version separately and equally. was hoping to having something more substantial to comment. but i dont.
