Half Nekkid Thursday

It's Still Thursday for another 40 minutes so I can still make a Half Nekkid Thursday post in time.

Yup, It's my Ankle. When I was in 8th grade I broke both the bones at the bottom of my leg.

Did it sliding into home plate in our last preseason baseball game. Me and the catcher met up at the plate at the same time both at a full run. I broke my leg and, as I found out years later in HS, his shin guard was snapped in half.

That's my story.

Did you post your Half Nekkid Thursday picture?
For shame! lol

Any borken bones in you life?

I'm a little late but I did mine.

I broke my arm falling out of the attic

Your sliding story into home plate reminded me of one of my son's games. No broken bones but a smart ass remark by "your's truley" put me on the Bleacher black list.

OMG I fell through the attic once. Caught myself on the rafters. Everyone heard the noise and was yelling "are you OK"
I told them I didn't know. It all happened so sudden my mind needed a second to take inventory. Banged up my side a bit but nothing broken, no blood.
With my baseball game it was a wild pitch and a very deep backstop. I was stealing home. I'm a sprinter so I was moving. Once the catcher realized, he had been just taking his time, he got the ball and ran. He jumped in front of the plate with his shin blocking the way. I don't think that is actually allowed; blocking the plate like that. Anyway we got there just about the same time so there was lots of energy; so it was more like a head on collision.

Ouch!!

I had a friend who was a catcher on a rec softball team in college who ended up on the worst end of a collision at homeplate

Knock on wood, I've been lucky not to have broken any bones...

It was the end of my baseball career. Didn't stop me from playing soccer. And since I started to use my left leg for kicking instead of my right it made me perfect for left wing.
Didn't put a damper on my pole vaulting either.
