Wow, I got up this morning looked in the mirror and noticed some changes have occurred . Have you noticed changes as the years have gone by? I admit physical changes, but the mentally I still feel young. Downside, sometimes my brain "writes checks" my butt can not cash. "Theoretically" how would you deal with becoming more mature ? Is it something you even think about? And for you young "whipper snappers" your time will come.

I like to think that this quote, attributed to George Carlin expresses my<b> philosophy ..........</font></b>" "'Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "HOLY SHIT....WHAT A RIDE!"

 How would I deal with becoming more mature? If I haven't gotten mature by now, I doubt I ever will!

 Even though I'm 65, I don't really think of myself as "older", although my body keeps sending me constant reminders.

But 1 thing I am more aware of now, since I will soon be getting cataract surgery in both eyes, is that I may no longer need to wear glasses. I have worn them since I was 5 years old.

I don't wear eye makeup often, and when I was still working, I only wore mascara, But, as I examine my "aging eyes" that may no longer be hidden behind glasses - I am aware that my upper eyelids are "baggier" than I would like. It is an inherited trait in my family, and is rampant throughout the generation I belong to. It cannot be corrected, other than surgically - and to tell you the truth, if I was having corrective surgery of any kind - it would NOT be on my eyelids !

What's the point here? Just that I may be forced to wear eye makeup all the time now, and apply it differently than I have before.

And they say, "you can't teach old dogs new tricks" ! I beg to differ.
