Pal, I've had one very unforgettable greeting from a then friend, who became my girlfriend of 2 years, and great friends after that (we attended each other's weddings). She had gone as a date to a formal event, left the after party, walked 1/2 mile in heels in the winter to find men at another afterhours event, I was spinning Vinyl. To say I was shocked to see her, standing in the doorway, dressed to the 9s, is an understatement.
