Step right up and don't be shy,
Because you will not believe your eyes.
She's right here behind the glass
And you're gonna like her,
Cause she's got class.
You can look inside another world.
You get to talk to a pretty girl.
She's everything you dream about
But don't fall in love

She's a beauty
One in a million girls,
She's a beauty.
Why would I lie?
Why would I lie?

You can say anything you like,
But you can't touch the merchandise.
She'll give you every pennies worth,
But it will cost you a dollar first.
You can step outside your little world.
You can talk to a pretty girl.
She's everything you dream about
But don't fall in love

She's a beauty
One in a million girls,
She's a beauty.
Why would I lie?
Why would I lie?

Okay, this one will be about my guitar and equipment. Eddie has a new pedal out The 5150 overdrive. You can get his unique brown sound by just using this pedal with any amp. Now, the question is, why haven't I bought it yet? I am or I will, but, it turns out I already have it! I have a 5150 amp of course, so I actually do have that exact sound if I ever need it. And my Eddie Van Halen guitars, the Frankenstein and the Music Man have the same pick up or Frankenstein and Wolfgang pick ups in them to further get the right sound. And their both made out of the same wood as Eddies originals so they sound the same. Of course, for those that are aware, you don't need all of that stuff to get Eddies tone. But I'm a stickler when it comes to that stuff, just because I don't want to leave anything to chance. Anyway, I was messing around with my new little fender mustang amp, and guess what, they've already installed a channel with Eddies tone on it. I realized this because I was playing along with a video that was demonstrating the features on the 5150 pedal and I was able to match the tone perfectly! The guy in the video even got out a Frankenstein guitar to play on. So, I got out mine too. And yeah, there is a slight difference in the sound when you use one of those guitars. One of the cool features on this pedal, is that it has a noise gate built in. Which means, when your not playing, it cuts out the hiss from the overdriven amp. The little fender thing I'm using has one too. I didn't realize it until I was playing along. This little amp has so much stuff built into it, it will take me years of using it to discover everything. Which is a dramatic contrast to my original little fender amp. I still have it, and I used it as recently as my "The sea refuses no rivers " video. I don't know why I used that old piece of shit for that video. I have a far better small amp I could have used, but I used the fender instead. It was hard to deal with, because it's old, the knobs don't sit very well for the settings. But it's interesting to me, because this was the one of the first real amps I had, and I bought a fender Stratocaster left handed as my first real guitar. I had other guitars and little tiny practice amps previously, but they were all so bad and such pieces of junk, I would have been better off stringing wire over a two by four and strumming on that. LOL! Yes, really. But now, after I've conquered the guitar world, and own all the coolest guitars in the world. They're all just in the next room. Here I am back where I started with the same guitar and a more sophisticated version of the original fender amp. Also, I can play on a world class level now. When I first had that stuff I could barely play an entire song. I remember I was just learning the basic chords and beginner stuff. Back then, I thought, if I had better guitars and equipment and could play better, I would never bother with this cheap crap. Well, here it is all this time later, and I do have better guitars and equipment, and I can play better, and I'm still using the same cheap crap I started with! LOL! I can tell you partly my reasoning. That stuff is good, but it takes too long to set up and prepare to play. It's easier to just use this cheap stuff. That way I can just start playing and don't have to spend and hour getting the expensive stuff set up to sound just right. The people who designed this stuff know that too, that's why they made it like that. So, that's why that works out that way when I'm playing something. But of course, when I want to do a video, I will take the time to use the more expensive stuff, just because it sounds better. But for practice or messing around, this cheap stuff is pretty cool and gets the job done.
