Letter To The President

Oh My God, this is so funny!

So, I got an email from Barack Obama's campaign, and saw red.

I'm more than a little disgusted with The President.

So, I banged out a quick reply, and hit "send" before proof-reading it.

When I went back and re-read it, I realized I'd made one tiny typo; a single letter that is adjacent to the letter I'd intended on the keyboard, and it changed the complexion of the entire message.

(Note to everyone: I'm not interested in entering into any political debates here. This is America, and I will defend your right to your opinion, even if I violently disagree with it, but this is my blog, and while I certainly take numerous shots at Conservatives in it, that's why it's my blog. You're more than welcome to quote my blog in your blog and rant all you want about us damned 'Librulls")

So, can you spot the typo?

"Sent: Tuesday, October 4, 2011 6:59 PM
Subject: Re: They won't even vote on it

Give me a freakin' break.

Barack Obama ran on a platform of CHANGE

He gets elected, and won't FIGHT.

Now you want me to fight for him?

"He can't do it alone"?

Did y'all really expect those entrenched bureaucrats and polls and lobbyists to just say "OK, we'll change.", and roll over?

How can you expect to initiate change without being prepared to get your hands dirty?

How can any adult not know that you cannot reason with unreasonable people; especially when those unreasonable people have an agenda?

How can you back down every single time they play "chicken", and expect them to do anything different in the future? You have taught them how to prevail against you!

Now, NOW Barack Obama is ready to fight. Now, when he is up for re-election, NOW he's talking tough and ready to tangle.

It makes me sick.

The Audacity Of Hope.

Whatever.

Barack Obama is the biggest disappointment of my adult life, and that is saying something.

Mr Obama, you may still get my vote, but only because I will be trying to keep someone I believe would be even worse than you out of the Presidency.

I don't think I'll be alone in that.

Hope that works out for you.

And the flap you've created over the gay soldier being booed at the Tea Party debate?

What a hypocrite you are!

Thousands, even tens of thousands of the men and women who have honorably, bravely served their country in Iraq and Afghanistan have returned physically and psychologically wounded, only to find themselves having to fight again with the VA and the military they served in to get even the most basic help they need and the benefits they've earned with their courage, patriotism, and even their blood, limbs, and mental health.

"Pre-existing conditions"?

That must be the most dishonarable thing this country has ever done to the men and women who have sacrificed so much for it.

Every time I see a vet, I am ashamed.

How can you, the Commander-In-Chief, the person ultimately responsible for the welfare of those service men and women, just sit back and allow this to happen?

Not only that, but now you lecture others about respecting those who serve when it suits your political purposes?

It's a disgrace.

If you had an ounce of honor, or a shred of decency, you would jump in your limo right this second, head over to the Pentagon, and then the VA, and start personally licking ass until this un-American outrage is corrected.

Doubt it's gonna happen.

You enjoy your football games this weekend, though, Mr. President."

I just hope that's not the Secret Service knocking on my door.

Oh, gees, I was with ya, all the way. Then I found the typo...Wouldn't that be a fantastic sight? Ok, now I'm even more with ya'!

Red lipstick and "fuck me" shoes. What more could you want?

Maybe that would convince them, too.

licking huh? You musta been scrolling back and forth from here when you wrote this.

Hey, did I mention that I have a long distance crush on you now? Wow, great letter. Our President has disappointed me also. I'm pretty upset by his choice of job czars.

It may well have been a Freudian slip, but my obsession is blowjobs, not rimjobs.

; )

And a crush? Wow. That's very flattering. The last time I remember a girl having a crush on me was when Maureen McCaskill sat on my back and jammed my face in the dirt till I said "uncle" in the third grade!

This one's much nicer!

Bahahahaha. Always proof read before hitting send. LOL. I'm with you too. I'm a democrat, but am not pleased either, but be that as it may however, what the republicans have to offer just down right scares me!

Btw, I have a crush on you too. Or maybe it's just lust.

@gamer000: That would make a good post for your blog. I even agree with it, but as I said earlier, I'm here to make friends and get blowjobs, not debate politics, so I'm removing your comment.

Sorry

(PS. If you were a hot chick whom I may have had even an outside chance being able to talk into dressing up in a PVC catsuit for me, I would have left it.)

(Hypocrisy, it's what fuels the world)

I think Obama licking ass is actually more appropriate than what you were meaning to say, which I am guessing was kicking ass. I see Obama as a man on the Down Low. He probably licked alot of ass over the years.

I agree the republican option is far too scary even for my semi-conservative blood. The typo however about had me spraying tea all over my desktop. Of course since it is now okay for the gays to come out in the armed services some of those Pentagon officials might actually admit to enjoying a good ass-licking from the Commander in Chief. To the subject of your blogpost I stand beside you Sean. Our wounded soldiers and brothers in arms should not have to beg for the care for which they are entitled and so very much deserve. Even with the typo I would hope that the sentiment of your e-mail makes it to the ears of Mr. President Obama.

You know, Dean, that issue bothers me more than any other.

I don't care where you stand on the wars we've been fighting for the past 10 years, you cannot help but honor the men and women who have chosen to serve their country.

I don't think it's a political issue. Even the most die-hard liberals I know agree with me on this.

What I don't understand is, why aren't more people up in arms over it? Our government's terrible treatment of our vets has been widely reported, I don't think it's an issue of it's having been hidden from the public. I think people just don't care enough to do anything about it.

This holds especially true for politicians. They wrap themselves in the flag and give speeches about "patriotism". They all wear a little American flag pin in their lapels, yet none of them speak up about this.

It's a disgrace.

(P. S. Glad you got a laugh. It's the ultimate applause.)

(when you're telling a funny story, that is. If you pull your pants down, and your date bursts out laughing .... not so much)

Well, his wife smiles a lot, so you may be right!
