LA philharmonic

I was dragged to another performance the expert LA Philharmonic orchestra on Sunday at the great Disney concert hall. The first part was forty minutes of Wagner from the Ring series. After the break short pieces of atonality. Not sure why they made this paring. but the Wagner was more normal.

Hard to accept the note scale and erratic meters. Beyond syncopation. A once in a lifetime experience I hope. The toned can appreciate atonality I guess. Just don't try to dance to it.

The audience was mainly old people. Another area needing an intro to young people.

I would say I had a much better experience than you. I went to the Opera House in Boston and saw a new touring version of CATS that was out of this would Grizabella brought the house down with Memories- standing ovation

Cats sounds like fun. Some culture takes more effort than you expect. Still it does open another door to something you were not considering before.
