Car companies again

If Bush was going to use the TARP funds to save GM and Chrysler, why didn't he just do it and show some leadership?

Why did Nancy Pelosi insist on preserving the 25 Billion for energy retooling if the companies might be bankrupt by the time they get ready to retool without some quick cash now?

Why do we give or commit over $8 Trillion to financial firms and then balk at $15 Billion for two firms that employ indirectly a million Americans?

Why did the Senate Republicans insist the UAW reduce the wages in 2009 and why did the UAW insist on 2011, and no one agree on 2010 to prevent bankruptcy?

Why do people want the car companies to file bankruptcy when repeated surveys show over 80% of consumers would refuse to buy a car from a bankrupt company?

Why isn't preserving jobs important in a time of the worst recession since the Great Depression in the thirties?

Why do Republicans keep trying to channel Herbert Hoover?
